Mallett’s Latest

I do not like to talk about “spiritual warfare” when it is close to home and I try to act in a way so that I do not impose crosses I should bear on others. That said, sometimes the battle gets so intense I have to go quiet for a while – just as when you are riding a canoe and come to the rapids, you need to get alert and quit trying to steer until you are safely through. Just keep steady, react to the movement of the canoe and maintain your balance to avoid capsizing until you are through. Try to steer and you make capsizing more likely, not less.

Some people very close and dear to me are in the midst of intense spiritual warfare right now. I will try to post as I can, but I am quiet until we are through the worst of the rapids, anyway. Your prayers would be much appreciated.

Meantime, I add this link to Mark Mallett’s latest. His writings up to this point have been preparation. Now he writes for the time of fulfillment. Read him.

About charliej373

Charlie Johnston is a former newspaper editor, radio talk show host and political consultant. From Feb. 11, 2011 to Aug. 21, 2012, he walked 3,200 miles across the country, sleeping in the woods, meeting people and praying as he went. He has received prophetic visitation all his life, which he has vetted through a trio of priests over the last 20 years, and now speaks publicly about on this site. Yet he emphasizes that we find God most surely through the ordinary, doing the little things we should with faith and fidelity. Hence the name, The Next Right Step. The visitations inform his work, but are not the focus of it. He lives in the Archdiocese of Denver in the United States.

Charlie, I have read most all of your and Mark’s post/blog. I have talked to my family about the storm. The problem I am having is that I don’t see these things happening. I know I live in the middle of Iowa where life is so simple. We had an abundant crop this year. The news says that companies and businesses are looking to open up hundreds of new jobs. Life is good! What am I missing. I pray and I pray hard. God Bless you and your work.

Keep doing what you are doing, Liz. If everything smooths out, you are doing well. If not, you are doing well. But I will say it is a bit myopic when ISIS is waging war throughout the Middle East, some of Asia, Europe, Africa – and making strikes here and promising more with the administration having its head firmly planted in the sand, when a third of the available workforce is NOT working and the administration juices the numbers to make it look okay, when Christians are being thrown out of the public square and sued, stripped of their property and even jailed if they run afoul of authorities to think that everything is just fine.

Yet that is the way of the world. In the run-up to every great catastrophe in history, despite all the signals around them, most people thought everything was fine, not as people made it out to be, so long as the terror was not right at their door. It is why people are so slow to roust themselves to action when darkness approaches.

As we stand on the battle field we await the command of He that owns our hearts. He does not come himself but sends her he loves so much, his mother. She who walked with him his life on earth and the one who watched as he was scourged, beaten, cursed, spit upon and crowned with thorns. How she must have ached seeing her God-son treated in such a way and I wonder if she didn’t say to those with her ” do they not see he is God as he carried a heavy cross after the torture he had gone through” ? As the cheers and jeers, curses and spitting up to the very place of Golgotha to which he came for to take all our sins, our shame, every thing that man can do he took upon himself that day and she watched and prayed. It is said that she took her veil off to cover Jesus and the soldiers did nothing to stop her. As he lay dying he gave her to us when he gave her to John his beloved for all of us to take her into our homes, our hearts is where home is and the world refuses to see. The world has been lost since the beginning and now comes our Pentecost, the cleansing, The Holy Fire that will transform and separate the chaff from the wheat. Now we can see through our brother Charles, our Popes and Our Lady Herself and the teachings in the bible that has been preparing us for the great cleansing. All will suffer, all will repent, all will fall to their knees and proclaim Jesus is Lord. All the Nations shall proclaim Jesus is King of kings and Lord of All. We suffer now in many ways, tormented by pain in our bodies that the Lord has sent us to share for the work he is doing on this earth to test fire us so we and he knows who he can raise up to be great Saints through the Storm and into the new era of Peace. Our Lady, Mother Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth will finally be given her rightful place in the hearts of man drawing us ever closer to Jesus. There will be great gnashing of teeth for all but we her children will stay close to her and she will cover us in her mantle. We are coming closer now and the time has come to put away childish things things that keep us from God, things that distract us, things that have anything to do with this world, it is time to stand with our Lord and his Mother and proclaim the new Kingdom from the rooftops Praise God, She Comes.
