Mark Mallett and the Flame of Fire

There is no layman on the scene I more admire than Mark Mallett. He overtly grounds everything he writes solidly in Scripture, the Magisterium and in the writings of the Saints. Today he writes about the “Rising Morning Star” here.

I have been reading him for a year and a half. At first, his stuff was so sympatico with what I was being told and shown I suspected he might be reading my stuff. But he goes his own way and does it marvelously. A few months ago I made contact with him and chat from time to time. He is the only person regularly speaking on these matters with whom I concur 100 percent. Should the time ever come that I don’t, I will examine myself and pray to find the way. He is amazing, faithful and sent as a great gift to us all during these difficult times.

If you do not already follow his site, please do. His wisdom, the grace which he is clearly receiving and sharing, is truly breathtaking – and a real comfort to me.

About charliej373

Charlie Johnston is a former newspaper editor, radio talk show host and political consultant. From Feb. 11, 2011 to Aug. 21, 2012, he walked 3,200 miles across the country, sleeping in the woods, meeting people and praying as he went. He has received prophetic visitation all his life, which he has vetted through a trio of priests over the last 20 years, and now speaks publicly about on this site. Yet he emphasizes that we find God most surely through the ordinary, doing the little things we should with faith and fidelity. Hence the name, The Next Right Step. The visitations inform his work, but are not the focus of it. He lives in the Archdiocese of Denver in the United States.

Everyone who benefits from reading Mark’s writings should seriously consider supporting his ministry…either with regular monthly support or donations as you are able…he has a large family and struggles mightily financially as he strives to serve the Lord. His website and blog is a treasure trove of truth and understanding, plus he is extremely honest about his struggles and challenges.
