One More Thing

There are many worthy sites where details of interpretation of various private revelations are debated extensively and heatedly. Some argue that the Vatican is withholding part of the Third Secret of Fatima. Some argue that no Pope has ever consecrated Russia properly – while others (including the late Sr. Lucia) say that St. John Paul the Great did. This is not one of those sites.

If you follow the comments closely, you will see that I am very open to vigorous disagreement with me, even when you challenge my authenticity. I belief truth will stand the test of examination, so I like to approve just about everything that comes through.

But the focus of this site is not to debate whose interpretation of a prophecy is right. Rather, it is to help people act with hope and resolve in times that are bad and are going to get worse. If any factual mistake is made, including one on the substance of a prophecy, I welcome correction. I welcome the witness some want to make on what some of these things mean to them. But my purpose here is not to debate endlessly on when our ship will depart, what course it will take, or what the weather will be on a particular day of the voyage. It is to try to help people prepare for and live the journey fruitfully whenever the ship leaves, whatever course it takes and whatever the weather is.

If anyone regularly gets caught up in obsessive debates over how many angels can dance on the head of a pin (i.e. their favored interpretations of prophecy, both approved and private) I will regretfully ban them from the site. This site is designed to prepare and give heart to all the people on the pilgrim journey before us. I will carefully guard that from any efforts to change the focus or to abuse others on the site.

About charliej373

Charlie Johnston is a former newspaper editor, radio talk show host and political consultant. From Feb. 11, 2011 to Aug. 21, 2012, he walked 3,200 miles across the country, sleeping in the woods, meeting people and praying as he went. He has received prophetic visitation all his life, which he has vetted through a trio of priests over the last 20 years, and now speaks publicly about on this site. Yet he emphasizes that we find God most surely through the ordinary, doing the little things we should with faith and fidelity. Hence the name, The Next Right Step. The visitations inform his work, but are not the focus of it. He lives in the Archdiocese of Denver in the United States.
