All is Well

A few people have sent notes checking if I am okay. I’m fine. I got in Tuesday, had meetings on Wednesday and Thursday – and now am taking the weekend to truly decompress from a very wonderful, but rigorous, four and a half months of work. I will be at it Monday with pleasure and vigor. – CJ

About charliej373

Charlie Johnston is a former newspaper editor, radio talk show host and political consultant. From Feb. 11, 2011 to Aug. 21, 2012, he walked 3,200 miles across the country, sleeping in the woods, meeting people and praying as he went. He has received prophetic visitation all his life, which he has vetted through a trio of priests over the last 20 years, and now speaks publicly about on this site. Yet he emphasizes that we find God most surely through the ordinary, doing the little things we should with faith and fidelity. Hence the name, The Next Right Step. The visitations inform his work, but are not the focus of it. He lives in the Archdiocese of Denver in the United States.

Charlie, When I was a young girl, I once was told that when you work for God, “There is no rest for the weary.” Therefore, when you return back to work on Monday I would like you to clarify something for me .
On your post “Go Forth” you listed the eight items that you knew were to happen before the rescue.
    The first
    – The continued toppling of governments throughout the world, including that of the U.S. The toppling of a government does not mean the nation shall fall.

In the Birmingham video you mentioned that Obama would not fulfill his final term. (which I gave a singular high ho over) and in addition you said there would be no election. ( I am presuming you are meaning the one that is to occur NOV. 2016. in the U.S.) May I assume that this comes under the “toppling of governments through out the world?”

Charlie, we older Catholics have, since forever, known that the satan tries to play chess with the Creator who tolerates the chess game. So when you drop a puzzle piece I run for it with great happiness on the possibility that I have something else to talk to God about. For me, this is the old tapestry story. You know. The one where God sees the beautiful upper side and we see the stitch and knot underside with no real clue as to what part of the total tapestry the stitch and knot belongs.

From down under, I enjoy putting together puzzles, and other such activities, but the tapestry has my total attention because of my( for lack of a better word), “obsession” with God.

I say there will be no presidential election in 2016. There may be some sort of election, but the next national leader of the U.S. will emerge through God’s plan, not man’s.

Charlie, i am hoping it is not too late in saying this…great comfort i feel with the above statement. The deluge i see in our broken compass is staggering, and have stated…almost preached…to my sons generation that their generation will bring back the moral compass God intended for America.
AND i wanted to say what a touching story you wrote about Jesus and Joseph. I felt like i was watching the wood work being damaged in their communion of conversation. So many images came to my mind. Charlie, this should be in book form with illustrations and be sold for the Christmas and Easter seasons coming up. This is a story that will linger in a person’s soul for many a moons.
        With aloha..God bless you!

      • Thank you Nancy and Mick. Thank you also to those who sent donations recently. The cost of the server was covered for all sites, we’re safe for six months on that department!
The sites (other than DELUMEN which I cannot afford to produce right now and will have to be off for a short while) are:

This last site belongs to the Obra Social Pablo VI of Montevideo, Uruguay, a Catholic social service that is doing WONDERS for homeless families in that country. They are very resourceful but they need all the help they can get. Please consider visiting them and making a small donation, even $5 US helps them because they are very frugal and a dollar goes a long way in Uruguay. They do not have “executives” drawing salaries, the directors are all young volunteers. Of course, nurses, cooks, janitors, etc. have to be paid and food, shelter, maintenance, blankets, electricity, etc. cost money even in Uruguay! You should see the loving care, the conversions they have been blessed with just because they truly make the love of Christ shine in that mostly socialist country. Send them something, a word of encouragement, your prayers if you can’t afford a donation. I do believe God will bless you in return.

        • Nancy, Kati: the WordPress site contains what used to be in CASOROSENDI.COM for the Spanish content formerly accessible from DELUME.ORG please go to PRIMERALUZ.ORG. Thank you again to all for visiting! Don’t forget to hit the “Like” buttons if you like the articles. It helps me a lot to know what readers like.

    • Hello Kati, DELUMEN.ORG is temporarily out of commission because I lack the resources to continue publishing it but the Spanish site is still active at PRIMERALUZ.ORG. Those sites were designed using a certain software that has become outdated although it will be functional for a while. To update that massive amount of material — plus a few other sites I keep voluntarily for Catholic organizations in South America — I need time. Being unemployed now in my 8th year without work, most of my time is invested in finding some small profitable thing to do to bring the bacon home. Donations from Latin American readers are scarce to say the least ($50 total since 2004!) but donors from English-speaking countries have been helping enough to pay for very basic expenses. The Lord provides! So it may be a while before DELUMEN is back: I need hardware, software, etc. and have to prioritize. Please pray for my “job” since working on these things help me keep my sanity 🙂

I enjoy reading your post. Just recently listened to many of your talks… In one of the talks you mentioned Garabandal, I believe you did say, people do not have the correct understanding of
this apparition. What is the correct understanding.

    • charliej373 says:

Therese, there is a search feature near the upper right of the website. Type in what you are looking for and it will pull up relevant articles. I say I think there is much mis-interpretation…but the big thing is various voices thainking they have come up with the one definitive understanding. That confidence always precedes hitting the shoals.

Friends, today is the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians. It’s sponsored by an inter-denominational Christian organization, The Voice of the Martyrs. Let’s unite in prayer for our brothers and sisters in need of our intercession.

Here’s a video released in 2011 on the occasion of this day of prayer. Such a powerful, hopeful story it is!

I think most of us here are alert and poised, ready to pay attention. Here’s something that happened this weekend in my little corner of the world. Living in this sweet dwelling for the past three years, I’ve seen many rainbows across the meadow; however, it was exceptional to see a rainbow today, yesterday, and Friday appearing in the morning and traveling across the sky during the day. I can’t help but think it’s a sign for us. Here’s a little reflection on that, with a picture:

For those of you who recall my two wave dreams, I did not get any images then to tell me I should share those dreams. In fact, the day that the second dream (tsunami dream) was to be activated, I did indeed have an experience/realization related to the Church. As Charlie says, dreams can show what is important to heaven in terms wild for the earth. It was personal in its impact, and the dreams I believe were designed to make me pay attention that day.

This morning I had a strange dream. This time I *was* given images at the end which appear to tell me to share the dream with people on this site. (Charlie, if you don’t want to have this on the site, feel free to remove it.) I don’t know what to make of it all, but here it is.

I became aware in my dream the the Pope had been missing for three days. I found him when he returned. I understood that he had been taken into the whirlwind and granted a truly profound spiritual experience.

Next scene I was sitting toward the end of a long dining table. To my right was a very imposing, worldly, sophisticated Cardinal. Across from him sat the Pope, who was asking very simple questions. After a while the Cardinal, irritated, said, “I’m bored with this,” and he got up and stalked off. I was given the impression that (1) the pope was asking very simple questions to bring himself back into the world after his experience, and (2) he was dealing with the group of people in the world who are simple people, those who are loyal to the Church and who trust him.

I was then given a number of impressions pretty much all at once. Laid out, they go like this: The pope would don sky-blue-colored silk shoes/slippers, be associated with the letters “BIU,” and would handle the people in the world who are loyal to the Church but currently untrusting of the pope. Once complete with this, the pope would don red silk shoes/slippers, be associated with the letters “NIU,” and would judge those people in the world who are disloyal to the Church and untrusting of him.

I also got the definite impression that the moment he donned the red shoes and began to judge those people, in the larger world the Fullness of the Storm would set in, and that that moment is imminent.

    My interpretation is pretty spotty:

It’s possible that Pope Francis’s earlier activities once made pope were the first phase when he was dealing with loyal, trusting people in a very simple pastoral way. The Cardinal seems to me to represent Vatican insiders/players bored with the pastoral stuff that filled that simple first phase of Pope Francis’s term.

The activities related to the blue shoes may be related to the Synod and other activities of greater sophistication and where he was dealing more directly with those who are involved with and loyal to the Church but find him hard to trust (the traditionalists?). Now that the Synod is over, the red shoes may come into play soon.

I will say that when I relive the impression that the red-shoe period is imminent, I feel chills. It affects me.

I have no idea what the letters BIU or NIU mean or why shoes and their color were so important in the dream, but they were explicitly shown to me as they appeared and changed, so I am reporting them.

I apologize to you all if I have wasted your time or caused over-excitement. I had decided after the wave dreams not to share anything like this again, assuming that my dreams are for me and not a larger audience. However, this dream ended with clear images that I believe are asking me to share this dream with all of you. So I have done so, somewhat against my better (intellectual) judgment. Again, Charlie, if you don’t want this on your site, feel absolutely free to remove it.

More disloyal persons in the Vatican have been revealed as arrests have been made regarding the leaked documents of Pope Benedict. Books are set for publication on November 5 that seek to expose and present the Vatican in bad light.

Your dreams are interesting, Steve, but a Joseph is needed to interpret them. 😉

Charlie, what did you think of your time in San Antonio last month?

    • charliej373 says:

I loved San Antonio – both the first time and last month. I am only sad that I was under the weather so much I did not get to visit many of the gorgeous sites there. Someone who came to my presentation mentioned that even there it was obvious how I was struggling with my cold.

  17. Amy says:

Steve, I recently had a stunning dream that I don’t understand either. I rarely remember my dreams so it feels like a minor miracle to recount any of it. I only remember that we were hiding in the church, priests were being killed all around us and a bishop or the Pope wearing a hat that I didn’t recognize. I don’t know what it means but, I’ve always been told that these things are a call to prayer so I will try to pray more for priests and our Pope and the same for you.

    • charliej373 says:

Most time dreams are an unconscious airing of anxieties and hopes. There are prophetic dreams, but the satan sends many. Don’t get too caught up in such things or you risk going down a rabbit hole that might keep you from doing the ordinary things in front of you that will participate in God’s will.

Don’t worry Charlie. I have 6 children and I homeschool. I don’t have time to fuss over anything not directly related to diapers, Autism, and type 1 diabetes. I have more than enough *ordinary stuff* to keep me busy. If you only knew what my ordinary looks like, haha! I get plenty of spiritual attacks however which is why I say pray.

Charlie, it appears that people are still having their comments publish in the wrong place. I’m afraid I don’t know what the problem is. It looks as if you will have to contact WordPress people or talk to a WordPress expert.

Sorry, but this one has me mystified. It’s probably something very simple, but I’m stumped.

    • Petra says:

SteveBC: I’ve noticed when I hit “Repy” from inside my email account (when viewing and wanting to respond to a comment) I’m taken to the bottom of the page of Charlie’s site, where a comment box opens and it says “Leave a Reply to XXXX”. The box appears at the bottom of the last post, not inserted into where the comment I am responding to is. Because I’m worried that the response will not appear in the right place, I never hit Post Comment, but look for the comment I’m responding to and hit the corresponding Reply button and then post my reply.
Could this be what is happening to some people? – they are responding from inside their email account and when they do it doesn’t insert under the comment they want it to? Just a thought and maybe to test.
      God bless.

  19. Well, it looks like I am absent for a long time and all of a sudden I come to visit and do not leave!
To give Charlie a well deserved break and yet give you something to read I dare to share this with you in a shameless act of self-promotion! 🙂 I have written about this before but last night I had a chat with a fellow who came to me with some half baked ideas about the Church being the invention of people that came long after Jesus left this earth. You know the drill … Here is what we talked about over some rice and meatballs!

Yep, I love a good story… and what a theme! After all the exertion of wood chopping/splitting, how wonderful to get a good fire blazing in the hearth for all to gather round. Enjoy the warmth and simplicity of friendship, with Jesus in our midst. It’s like charity at rest for me after a hard days work. Besides, there will be plenty more exertion at the wood pile soon enough.

I’m still savoring this meditation… slowly peeling back the layers like I a good onion. Maybe it would be more thematic for me to say that I’m peacefully contemplating the flames and embers of our little fire. I like to approach this in the same manner I would the Gospels in order benefit. With an upright spirit. Meditating in turn. Reading between the lines a bit. Receiving the gift with the same charity in which it was given.

In John 21:25, the Apostle said, “There are also many other things that Jesus, did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.” I think that if I were to attempt to meditate on all the things in the Gospel, I suppose that all the time in the world would not be sufficient to even scratch the surface.

I love Jesus and Our Mother. I love Joseph, the just man. Never really considered Joseph’s father, but love him too now. Learned a bit more about Charlie. Certainly paying attention to the other vocal ones around the hearth and learned stuff about them too.

As for the details of any particular wood splitting labor, I typically forget that in short order. A good story on the other hand… pretty hard to forget!

    God Bless,
