Grieving for France

By Charlie Johnston

Pope Francis said last week that we have entered into a new era – and so we have. This afternoon France saw one face of that new era completely unmasked. In the last week, we have seen the face of that new era unmasked on college campuses across America. The mindset of the latter begot the former.

In the western world, once called the free world, the prosperity we enjoy is a result of the principles of western civilization. The principles of confident western civilization were the principles of Christianity. Now the principles of western civilization are under siege from within and without the western world. Many westerners think those principles are not worth defending and that Christianity is a primitive superstition. So we do not defend those principles with confident vigor. As our faith has declined, as our commitment to faith, family and freedom have declined, so has our prosperity, liberty and hope. The west still has the power to defend itself. It lacks only the wisdom and the will.

The brutal atrocity in France today is one of the scenes in the opening act of this new era. There will be more. Under God, we will rise. As we enter this new era, what I write now will largely focus on how you can be part of the Rescue. By the time it comes, we will all know that we need Rescue.

Tonight, we grieve for France – and particularly for the French members of our NRS family. God bless and keep you all.

And the people of the kingdom…

Charlie Johnston is a former newspaper editor, radio talk show host and political consultant. From Feb. 11, 2011 to Aug. 21, 2012, he walked 3,200 miles across the country, sleeping in the woods, meeting people and praying as he went. He has received prophetic visitation all his life, which he has vetted through a trio of priests over the last 20 years, and now speaks publicly about on this site. Yet he emphasizes that we find God most surely through the ordinary, doing the little things we should with faith and fidelity. Hence the name, The Next Right Step. The visitations inform his work, but are not the focus of it. He lives in the Archdiocese of Denver in the United States.

“France” is NOW here … has been since at least 1993 but USA in denial! …. and The American godless Left are reacting, as usual, with Gun Control!! … GUN CONTROL!! Not Criminal Control, Not Border Control, Not Muslim Terrorist Control or Urban GangBanger Control or …. the Left wants to disarm YOU but all the above … not so much!!?? Oh!! Bye the Bye … If you have any doubts about what the American Left, no doubt their Canadian/EU Left too, think about people of Fatih and their Prayers, get a load of the below:

Vox, Think Progress, and the Daily Kos are considered “valued” members of The Democrat Party Machine and their 2016 Election Prospects!
