  3. Love, love, love this! Love hearing your voices, love the added meaning that voice inflection, laughter, etc. gives to points I’ve read before. I so appreciate repetition of the simplicity of acknowledge God, take the next right step and be a sign of hope. It cannot be said enough. I am a planner by nature. So many, many times I get bogged down in the details and end up chasing my tail. My hubby likes to get me back on track by saying, “Mary….you are trying to work the whole cookie sheet again. Just do one muffin cup at a time.” Plans are good and all, but I really think that stubborn addiction to plans bespeaks a lack of trust in the Lord and reveals my own reliance on self.
    Thank you Charlie x 2!

Good job Charlie and Charlie. I do believe this format will to work out well.

One comment I’d like to make regards Charlie’s remark on Abraham’s unwavering faith when he said to his son, “God Himself will provide the sacrifice.”

According to an Orthodox rabbi I know, the correct translation of that verse would read, “God will provide ‘HIMSELF” a sacrifice.” And that’s exactly what He did. He became the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

      Nancy,
Currently, many books speak of Our Lady of Guadalupe. For me the following is one of the best and shall lead you discover an insight leaving you to ponder the greatness of God and in His plan.

Paul Badde. I found his work exceptional but reading other books such as Knight of Columbus’s Carl Anderson may bring new ‘tid bits’ of information. Cheers!

From an earlier post in a different thread…

Since reading the book “A Handbook on…Guadalupe” ISBN: 1-60114-006-1 i was amazed at the Image being an astonomy codex for the Aztecs. Scientists held a sky map corrected for ‘reverse’ anamorphosis with the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe interposed therein. I refer to page 69, PP 3: Chapter: The Tilma of Juan Diego

“As we study the identifications, we must remember the Nahuatl artists always represented the east at the top of their pictures, the south at their right, the west at the bottom, and the north to the left. We must also remember that the Divine Tlacuilo showed the stars ‘backward’, thus reversing north and south. The constellations wheel from east to west, from the top of her Image to the bottom. Those at the top are rising. Leo is directly overhead and if shown on the tunic, it would be over her womb. (We recall that Revelation 5:5 gives the Lion of Judah as a type of Christ, and that Regulus, the most prominent star in the constellation of Leo, means ‘Little King’!) The stars at the bottom are about to disappear over the western horizon…” (Barber, Janet, I.H.M.)

Personally I thank you for the podcast!

Your boy Charlie is doing a great job interviewing you!

You told us so much, you reminded us of so much!

You are a great gift to us during these crazy times!

All I can say is …thank you dear Charlie for your loving heart!
    You care and it shows!

God tested me during this past 6 months in a way that I am not sure
I would have “survived” without loosing my mind but I did thanks to my faith and friends who prayed for me among them our wonderful Becita.

I am slowly ” getting up” hopeful in knowing how wonderful is my Maker.

Truly it was a test of a lifetime for me and my family …
Your words Charlie to do the next right step were always with me.
May God Bless you Charlie and your family!
Keep reminding people of Hope and do not worry about critics / anti god people.

I do not have any more questions all of them you answered for me.

There is a stillness in me and gentle awaiting now.

Happy and greatful for this day!

Sorry for the multi-post here but after listening to this installment, I observed something. Presumably, most or all of these questions come from people who have followed Charlie’s work to some degree. Some may be relative newcomers but I suspect most are at least somewhat or very familiar with the central TNRS message yet they STILL grasp for the little periscope that will let them peer around the corner to see what’s coming. Have they not been paying attention? I personally know people who for two solid years now, have been following this blog, watching video presentations, and have even attended live presentations and they absolutely WILL NOT let go of the notion that if they know what’s coming, they can make the ‘perfect plan’. By the way, these are very bright and prayerful people but apparently very stubborn in letting go of their old paradigm.
One of my Top 5 take-away lines from my first exposure to Charlie (Birmingham video) is: “Your plans mean nothing!” Thanks again, Charlie, You have literally changed my life for the better.

And truly, re: wanting to know what’s coming….if I had known 30 years ago what was coming in my own life over those next 30, I would have been hard pressed not to jump off the nearest bridge. God’s grace is sufficient to the day. Tomorrow will take care of itself.

St. Maximillian was indeed the inspiration but it is not quoted anywhere except the initial quote “Who are you the Immaculate Conception?” The rest is a bad ‘cut-paste’ job of transitioning between my Notes on my I-Pad and this blog. I guess a lot of Holy Souls are out of Purgatory. I am sorry to say, I incorrectly inserted “the” instead of “O” into the quote.

My intent was to ponder the Immaculate Conception. Here is the website best describing his works better than I.

      • Questions worthy of life-long contemplation, Sean. To that end, I highly recommend to everyone here the book “The Mystical City of God” by Venerable Mary of Agreda. There is a rich four-volume work or an abridged edition in one book.

Good news for Ven. Mary of Agreda fans: cause for beatification is moving forward.
        http://www.conchovalleyhomepage.com/news/local-news/vatican-official-researches-lady-in-blue-in-san-angelo/785007846

For those who may not know, she was a cloistered nun who bilocated from her convent in Spain to catechize Indians in what is now Texas and New Mexico – they called her the Lady in Blue. (She knew that the earth was an orb at a time when most believed it was flat.) Through her mystical visions with Jesus, Mary, and the Almighty Himself, many mysteries were revealed to Mary Agreda concerning the essence of the Blessed Virgin Mary from her conception in God’s mind before the beginning of time through to her conception, life, assumption, and coronation.

Mary of Agreda’s body has been incorrupt for over 340 years.

Venerable Mary of Agreda, pray for us!

Asking prayers for all those affected by the Montana wildfires and the many affected beyond the state, as well. We’re safe in Missoula, albeit amidst discomfort from particulate-filled smoke with sore throats, burning eyes and congestion, as cars are being covered in the fine dust of abounding ash. Air quality stinks around here. Not a drop of rain in 45 days with none forecast in the forseeable future. And it struck me the other day that our burning forests and wildlands are a reflection of the world situation. Thanks be to God for the brave fire fighters. Prayers for their protection, please. Here’s a photo from the year 2000, about 90 miles south of Missoula on the Bitterrot River:

Here’s a link to a dramatic shot taken at night four days ago. And an op-ed piece that says it all.

Thanks for your prayers. May they extend to wherever the world is burning, both literally and figuratively.

The fires and the effects are heartbreaking, as is the photo above, Beckita. I read your op-ed link about the loss of a firefighter, and we never know how many little creatures are killed in these infernos. Every year at fire season, I’m reminded of our San Diego fires in the 90’s. It was horrendous, and we lost a family friend in one of them. It turned day into night, as the wind blew the soot all the way to the coast from inland. God protect us all and our loved ones.

I can imagine it would be terrible to be so close to the fire. Yet in its own way, that picture has a certain beauty about it. I once heard a speaker say that forest fires can actually bring new life. There are some trees that require fire in order for their seeds to sprout, and the fire cleans out the deadwood, etc., making way for new life. Like the resurrection.

For me the apple pie story did resonate with our having gone through the inauguration-related prophecies and their missing fulfillment. Charlie may have got caught up in how Obama and “the next stable leader” would play out — in the same way he did get too caught up in the pie that was supposed to be for family (well, two bachelors anyway). So I do identify with the younger Charlie in this story.

contemplativegrandma, thank you for picking up on Charlie’s mention of the 2017 solar eclipse.

Oregon is the first state in the “band of totality,” which is about 70 miles wide. The band of totality starts at the Pacific coast near Lincoln City and moves across Oregon into Idaho and beyond.

Camp Sherman, my tiny unincorporated forestland community just east of the Cascades in Central Oregon, is within the band of totality, as is our Jefferson County seat, Madras, which is across Green Ridge from here. The normal population of Jefferson County is 23,000; Madras, 6,729. Our county and neighboring Crook County (normal population 22,000) are expecting tens of thousands of visitors from around the world ~ and we’re not normally set up for that.

While we want to be hospitable, our emergency services people and local residents are concerned about wildfires caused by lightning and by people setting illicit campfires during high-fire-danger season; major traffic jams on our two-lane highways and forest roads; ability to respond to health emergencies in these conditions; running out of gas at area service stations; not enough portapotties in private fields and yards set up for campers; and who knows what else?

Personally, I see this as a practice opportunity for taking The Next Right Step. The solar eclipse 2017 is an extraordinary event coming our way here in the wilds of Oregon. Our local deputy sheriff and county emergency coordinator acknowledge that we cannot possibly predict what will actually occur. We simply must be alert and respond as well as we can by taking The Next Right Step and working together as communities.

    • I have a dear friend who’s a physicist (not a common profession). He admits he’s an agnostic. We have engaging conversations about scripture and the faith (he knows where I stand, and we enjoy the debate). I’ll bring up points that Fr. Groeschel used to make that came from his love of science and astronomy. If I mention something about biblical events, when I visit him again, he’s thought about what I said and then gives me a response against my point. I love it! I’m also glad he’s engaged in the subject.

We were talking about the moon one evening, and he said that by comparison, the surface of the moon is smoother than a cue ball. He often shares things that are non-intuitive with me, and I nearly always take his statements at face value. (I rejected a crack-pot theory he offered that the 7 complex, integrated proteins necessary to make flagella function evolved simultaneously — ha!)

🌙 Anyway, I asked him: what are the chances that the sun and moon, with their dramatically different sizes and great distances apart, would line up in the sky perfectly and appear to be virtually identical sizes? Wouldn’t the chances be far greater than one would appear much bigger than the other?

He paused, then said, “That is…unusual.”

I said the moon is Our Lady’s lamp, and that her light always points toward the Son.

Oh Chaz and Charlie! I really loved listening to this Q & A. It’s just delightful to hear you two talk and have fun and the info received is wonderful for all of us TNRS’s!!!! Charlie, you helped me out long ago when all the stuff was hitting the fan in my life and you helped me to deal so well with it all and to learn to be little and trust like a child in God. Like you said, it took awhile to heal from all the trauma, as we all are, but the peace that ensued is wonderful! Thank you again, I am eternally grateful to you for saying YES to God and for helping us all through these most difficult times!

I have a neat story to share! I was at adoration hour this past Thurs 3-4 pm…doing Flame of Love Holy Hour…so I was on the 4th Luminous Mystery! I drew a blank… What was the 4th Luminous Mystery??? I sat there, looking at Jesus…hand caressing chin, and just thought and thought….but to no avail…it wouldn’t come to my mind!!! So I gave up…checked on my smart phone and of course it was the transfiguration! I have a sort of habit of Bible diving when I would like a word from God…and I did so just before saying the 4th Mystery… You’ll never guess what I opened up to…HAH!!!! THE TRANSFIGURATION!!! Jesus made me burst out loud because it was like He was saying to me…”DUMMY…WHY DIDN’T YOU JUST ASK ME!!!” Jesus indeed is there for us all…He has a sense of humor too I think! I sure do love Him!!! I love you all too!!!!

Sooo…
          Charlie: Well-the website!
Charlie Jr: Yeah, the website-slash-blog. That said umm, I figure we start (excuse me)ah, with the negative comments, soo… this is one from SoundCloud.
Question: (Charlie Jr. reading): Charlie, can you discuss your Bi-polar disorder and how it has impacted your visions?
Charlie: (snickering) Ahh, seeing as I have never had a bi-polar disorder, it hasn’t affected them at all. I think the fellow was probably, ah, mistakenly, ahh, talking about my neurological disability. Unfortunately when neorological has anything to do with the nervous system, umm, some people mistake it- I had one fellow, who should have known better, ask me, “So, how have things been since your stroke?” I said, “I never had a stroke.” He said, ” Well you had a neorological issue.” I said, ” Yeah, a stroke is a nerological issue but not neorological issues are strokes.(chuckles) Umm, what I had was a deformity in my upper spine and when a disk collapsed it deprived my spinal cord of fluid, ahh, for about 2 or 3 months and it left some permanent nerve damage. Since Good Friday of 2003, umm, there has never been a moment where I don’t have some pain. I haven’t had a stroke, I havene’t had bi-polar disorder, ahh, or anything like that. A nerological disability covers a lot of ahh, a lot of ground, just like a physical injury, it might be a broken ankle, it might be a broken wrist it might be a sprained ankle, but no, it hasn’t affected me at all seeing as how I haven’t had one. (chuckles)
Charlie Jr.: Okay! Follow up-(next question) “Charlie, you should say up front that the Archbishop of Denver has issued two warnings against your messages. Archbishop Aquilla’s spokeswoman, said your messages have proven innaccurate and Catholics should not condone them nor attempt to re-interpret them to make them accurate.
Charlie Jr. speaking to this now: Ah, first off we’ll say that Archbishop Aquilla is the Archbishop of the Denver area- right? Denver?
          Charlie: Yep.
Charlie Jr.: Umm, so just in clarifying that, that would be the Archbishop whose overview in your current archdiocese so- go ahead…
Charlie: Umm, the Archbishop, they did an investigation, ah, they did not give approval to my messages which that doesn’t happen until they are all over, they also did not condemn them. Archbishop Aquilla gave ah, one warning, that catholics should view the messages on prophetic matters with extreme caution on that. Ahh, that business about mistakes, of course I’ve said-I noted the blunder I made and frankly I’ve spoken umm, presumptuously two times, ahh on the thing, one that everybody knows about, ahh, in terms of the inauguration, they didn’t say all of them are wrong, they said that those for early 2017 were mistaken. I had said that some people ahh, that followed kept trying to re-interpret them, I never did. I made a bunder, that was that. I have no restrictions except that I can’t give presentations on Church property in Denver, I am free to speak, I am free to write. Most of the people who listen, you’re not approved either, not being approved does not mean that you’re condemned. The difference with me is that I’ve undergone an intense examination, and I want to make it clear that as far as all of these things, I am obedient to my Archbishop and his lawful authority over me, I am not obedient to malicious efforts to misinterpret or re-interpret the archbishop’s words.
          End at 5:13.

Beckita, I will keep going on this but I imagine it will take a few days- my fingers are burning, my head hurts and my computer is over-heating… and you probably need to correct my punctuation etc… I’m sure if I was one of your students I would get a D- lol!

Snowy, please put this on hold and do the research with your sister first. We simply don’t have the capacity to check your work, sorry to say. Just check with your sister and let us know what she says. Then we can see if there is any real way forward. Thank you for trying this, but we need the research first. 🙂

SteveBC, sorry, I assumed Beckita would not be posting all of this as she could just copy/save it until it was done then give it to Jeanne… sorry if I didn’t make that clear!

I misunderstood what was going on, Snowy. I’ll let Beckita know. You might want to just get the whole thing done and then email us at TNRS Answers to give us the full file. Then we can get it to Jeanne. However, I am still curious what your sister might know that could help us – and save your fingers! 🙂

OK, Snowy, we’ll hold off while you do a little research. I had assumed this was something you had done many times in the past for your sister. Not to worry, though, Beckita, Chaz and I have been hoping someone would help research this issue. Please let us know what you find out. And thank you for trying. We know how hard it is, which is one part of the reason why we at first have said no to the idea. We simply don’t have the time or skillset to do transcripts.

Wow, Snowy, this is very generous of you. I’ll let Beckita and Chaz know. I would like to say to everyone that transcripts are helpful for those who need them, but I hope that all who can listen to the podcasts will actually listen and not simply read a transcript. Listening to Charlie’s voice and his conversation with his son will convey something no amount of the written word can. We really encourage people to seek the full experience a podcast can give.

Meanwhile, thank you, Snowy, for helping Jeanne out here. If we can help facilitate the transfer of the transcript to Jeanne, you can email us at tnrs.answers@gmail.com when you have the file ready.

I think the podcasts are great. You two are hilarious. I really do appreciate the necessity of living in the present and not worrying about the details of how this storm will play out and resolve. But I am going to ask a question that is coming from just being tired. What can you say about the rescue? It sounds so vague. Will all the evil and suffering end when the rescue happens? Is the rescue more something that will strengthen us to go on to an even more crushing battle with courage and love? If I have years and years left to endure then I just want to get that in my head that this is going to be long instead of hoping that it will be over soon. I am not so interested in what the rescue will be or look like but more wanting to know if it means the storm will be over or that we who are alive will be entering into more of the storm. Hoping you could say something about this next week. God bless your family, Charlie.

  33. Charlie’s insistence on “doing” reminds me of something about a year ago. We were with some friends discussing “What do you have that you did not receive?” (1 Cor 4:7). I kept on struggling with this: if I received everything, do I matter in any way? Three days later, during sleep at night, I vaguely remember asking insistently that exact sentence, until I suddenly heard a clear voice, answering with determination: “Your acts!”

Here is a good article from Matt Walsh about what I believe most of our roles are during the cultural war (storm). I think much of what he sums up is a result of the dictatorship of relativism. Blessings!

  37. Loved this podcast. Keep ’em coming. Question: Can Charlie explain the way that his “blunder” happened? Were you shown images that you did not understand or was it a message that you misinterpreted? Was it something specific that made you think that the presidential transition would not be peaceful? If the answers to those questions are not something you can share, can you explain what role your spiritual directors played in your discernment of those events? I realize this can be painful but perhaps your “mistake” can help us in our own spiritual discernment because as you say, God speaks to us all. One last question, is Yung Duk coming back? Does Charlie still keep in touch, below the radar?

Marisa, Charlie and Chaz actually covered that in this Q&A… and I just got done writing it down earlier tonight, but it’s long so I’m not sure if I should post it. I believe it’s at about or around the 40 minute mark- right after Chaz gets done joking about tattooing his feet 🙂 definitely worth listening to it again!

        Hello Snowy Owl,
I understand your comment “got done writing it down earlier tonight, but it’s long so I’m not sure if I should post”. Perhaps you would consider posting a link to your writing for those who might benefit from reading it ? I of course listened to the podcast. But sometimes when the memory does not recall, it is always good to go back to a valid piece of writing to refresh the memory.

        Take care,

In the article is a link to another article….. The Triumphs in Scripture. Again…. A necessary close read.
Gods plan is unfolding…. We must simply prepare for however it unfolds by stocking up with the Holy Spirit. Remember…. He is the God of Surprises. All is His Call! We just take each moment.

I am not one to focus on specific messages but I was thinking this morning about Charlie’s prediction of the president stepping down and not finishing his term before the election. Is it possible that this prediction is actually with Trump and not Obama?

    Like

    • Beckita says:

Well, prtx, in the current climate, it could well be that President Trump will not be able to finish his term. At the same time, should this happen, we have been directed by the Archdiocese not to reinterpret it as the real meaning behind the erroneous inaugural prophecy. Charlie, too, has asked us to accept that he made the prophetic blunder. We know, in his lifelong training, Charlie was corrected when he was “off” on interpretation. I’ve replied many times with a quote from Charlie, warning us that he would be significantly incorrect about something in is prophetic framework. In his piece, A Reality Check, Charlie said it would be a test for us to see if we have put our faith in Charlie or in God. All that said, prtx, I do “get” the pondering about the meaning of what is unfolding before us. God bless you and all here.
