A good movie is “Facing the Giants”, the whole theme of the movie is “Do your very best and leave the results up to God”. This movie goes with what Charlie and Charlie were talking about on the podcast.
    https://www.facingthegiants.com/
For anyone who has watched the movie, my favorite part is when Grant Taylor (the football coach and main character) has Brock do the death crawl across the football field. Brock keeps saying that he can’t go on any farther, and the coach keeps screaming in his face to give him his very best. Brock wound up going a lot farther than he ever thought he could, from there the attitude of the whole team totally changed. Whether they won or lost they would praise God, but they decide that they would always do there very best and leave the results up to God.
This is a Christian movie produced by Sherwood Baptist Church. Even if you don’t like football, this is still a great movie to watch.

St. Clare, the “death crawl” is my favorite part of the movie, too. I never make it through that scene without tears.

I know, it gives you goose bumps. The intensity, and the interaction between the coach and Brock is so awesome. the change in the team from that moment is amazing.

Hi, Sarah! I figured that the original comment was from John (not too many women get jazzed from movie scenes in which coaches are figuratively beating the mess out of their team). My family is all fine. How are you all doing? How’s the business going? When are you all starting school? We’re starting back up on August 28. I am not feeling ready… I need more summer “vacation”!

God bless all of you, too. 🙂

Hey, Mick! LOL! No, not too many women get jazzed by that scene, you’re right! But then, you said it was your favorite scene, so ya never know, right? LOL!

Glad to hear you are all doing well. 🙂 We’re doing pretty well. Grateful that God has lead us to some answers with our health that seem to finally be leading us to getting better from the effects the long term carbon monoxide exposure had on us all. We are sooooo grateful! Just part of our own mini-Storm. 🙂

The businesses are doing pretty well. God always leads us in the direction He wants us to go. The audiobooks have actually been growing to be more of a piece of the pie in providing. Definitely was God inspired for spreading the Faith, AND for providing for our needs. 🙂

Well, school… um…yeah… I dunno. 🙂 We go in stages with schooling depending upon the businesses, and, the last few years, health, etc. Changing our diet *drastically* for the whole family for at least a few months is taking up all my time and abilities. Once that slows down and settles into a routine, then I think we can get back to schooling more routinely. We actually school throughout the year, to make up for the times when we can’t, and it all works out in the end. That’s going to be my next thing after I get this health stuff under my belt.

I know! We have been feeling the itch to go camping and other Summer things so bad! We’re not ready for Summer to be over yet. We’re actually heading to MI in Sept. to visit my parents, and will likely camp along the way, and 1 or 2 nights on the way home. This Summer has not been enough “vacation” yet. I hope to get in a little more swimming and playing outside with the kids before the weather turns. 🙂

I’ll have to give you a call finally, sometime soon. 🙂 We just took a break from choir at our church, so we would have more time at home, and this last week and this week we’ve been more busy than we ever have. Go figure!

            Have a blessed Sunday,
            Sarah

Charlie and Chaz, I love this!!! Could hardly wait for you to post/air it! There is just one problem, it is that I can barely hear Chaz. Me thinks he needs a different mic. Charlie, old boy, you come in loud and clear!!
Question: things are heating up and they are talking impeachment of Trump. Charlie, could you have misinterpreted and instead of Obama not finishing his term, that perhaps you were 1 year off and it is Trump that will not finish his term? I believe you also said that Obama would turn Catholic eventually, and perhaps it is instead Trump who would end up turning Catholic? I can see that possibility as Melania is already Catholic, I believe. Just wondering.
    Thanks for your continuing guidance!

    • Patrick there in SD – I believe I said a while back that when God healed your sciatica that he also healed my facial nerve pain – well, my pain was in remission for only about a week and then came back. I was confused but now I just thank Him that I have something to offer for the salvation of souls. Still, I wish it had been a permanent cure. Someday it will all become clear. “Integrated hair-shirt,” indeed!
Did you ever make that decision on whether to go on to become an RNP? Have continued to pray for your decision.

      • Hi Katey, my colleague. Ah, pain. It really is a mysterious blessing; what an honor to share in His Passion! I’ve had a couple of really good months lately with ~5/10 and nearly full function, but the pain invariably ebbs and flows, waxes and wanes, and never really goes away. It’s ramped up again this month with bilateral lower limb paresthesia and pain, plus some marked cervical discomfort, but it’s manageable. (I’ll be honest: I wonder if there isn’t a significant psychological component to pain).

Archbishop Fulton Sheen warned us to be careful what we ask for. Two years ago during a bad bout of pain, I thought I could handle a little more in order to offer it up for poor sinners, so I prayerfully asked for more. I was surprised how quickly Our Lord responded to my request. Unfortunately, it was more pain than I could handle and I found myself begging Him to drop it back down a couple notches. Thankfully, he returned me to my baseline pain….ahhhh. 🙂 (This was a very revealing encounter).

Today, I splurged and bought a My Pillow. We’ll see how that works. I’ve bought enough pillows over the years that, if stacked on top of each other, would exceed my 6-foot height.

Good news: I’m still in the DNP program and am moving forward with the degree. The blessings regarding this and other aspects of my life are too numerous to count. I am so grateful. Alas, will I finish the semester or will chaos interrupt it? Regardless, I’m moving ahead with confidence. Three times a charm! But most importantly, Katey, THANK YOU for praying for me! You will get my next Rosary for your intentions. God bless you.

        Yours in Christ, Patrick

Thank you for talking a bit more about the rescue. You said many times, Charlie, that you plan to retire and not be a part of the rebuilding past its initial stages, sometime in 2018. I think that’s why I had a different picture formed in my head about this storm. So now I know better. I really enjoyed listening to you two talk. The cereal restrictions at your house were my favorite part. God bless both of you.

Sapperdepitjes, thank you for this suggestion. We will keep it in mind, but it doesn’t get to the desire some have to read a transcript at their own pace, which is often much faster than listening with titles. But the idea is in my head now, where it will rattle around until we decide which option or system will work best. The issue is definitely not resolved yet, although with your suggestion, we now have several options to pursue.

This was such an ENCOURAGING video!!!!! Thank-You Charlie, and Charlie II for your stance on how you see things regarding the country, and where we are headed. Question, on September 23rd, we are supposed to see an alignment of certain ‘Planets’, and MANY describe ‘The woman clothed with the Sun…” When I tell people, and I’ve told SEVERAL, that it refers to ‘The Blessed Mother,’ no one REMARKS, I mean NO ONE!!!! It’s really ODD! My question to you both, do you think that September 23rd will be the ‘RESCUE’? I think it very well could be! Oh, and HAPPY PRE-ECLIPSE WEEK-END 🙂

September 24 is the Feast of Our Lady of Ransom (Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes), Our Lady of Mercy! She is much celebrated in Spain and in Spanish America. She appeared in Spain to rescue Christians enslaved during the Reconquest war in the 1200’s. The Mercedarian Order today is still very much alive. Read about it. Do you see any connection?

If September 23 is the date of the rescue then a lot of things need to happen in the next 4 weeks, including the complete worldwide economic collapse, war with China, etc., or else I’m not quite sure what we’re supposed to be rescued from.

Mary, the term rescue used in the temporal sense of the word is a physical rescue or temporal rescue, in that sense we probably don’t need a rescue. The term rescue as used in a Heavenly context is more likely the rescue of Souls, I would posit that we are in desperate need of that type of rescue.

    • I’ve heard from Jews and Christian Jews that an economic event may occur on that date, although the expectation was for 2016 — something about 7-year cycles from the Old Testament. Not sure the significance of September 23 other than the feast day of Saint Padre Pio. (He died exactly nine months after my birth in ’68). We shall see!

Chaz, I choked up when you talked about doing squats for the person in the wheelchair. My mother was in a wheelchair for the last 20 years of her life; and although I worked out a ton in my younger days, it never occurred to me to offer up my workouts for her. Sure, I worked hard in school and sports and such because I thought I owed it to my parents and grandparents who had sacrificed so much for us kids (and who didn’t have the opportunities that my siblings and I had). So my mom was a motivational figure to me, but I never offered up my suffering for her.

Thanks for reminding me that all manner of suffering/sacrifice/inconvenience can be offered up for all manner of people and intentions. It’s something that I knew but had never thought of in the terms in which you presented your anecdote. So, thanks again; and God bless you and yours. 🙂

Chaz. as for squats, at the age of 64 I gave up the training wheels, otherwise known as the smith machine and figured I was a grown man now so started doing them the right way. I am currently squatting over my body weight and the thought of offering up the heavier work sets for special intentions is well taken. Clearly our world and our country is in a mess and I don’t believe we can make things better without God’s intervention, with our country about equally divided between good folks and the godless left, etc, etc.

Here is something I was pondering on today.

I was born and raised in a Non-denominational, Catholic-hating, Protestant fundamentalist church.
My parents honestly believe that the Catholic Church is the “Whore of Babylon”. Sooooo, when I converted to Catholicism at age 19, it created a whole lot of stress in our family for quite a while (This is putting it very mildly, I was almost disowned by them). After a while (10 years or so), things did settle down, but there is no way that there can be a discussion about the Truths of the Faith. I have been praying for their conversion for 24 years now.

Today we celebrated my Dad’s 73rd birthday, I get along great with my Mom and Dad nowadays, but there is still this slight rift of my Catholicism.

My Dad contracted Polio when he was 14 and because of this his left leg has no muscle, he walks with a cane and a bad limp, and wear’s a leg brace. In their church they believe that what you confess, that is what will be (Sounds New Agey to me but that’s besides the point.) My Dad is saying how one day he will be able to throw his cane away and walk normal, he has also said that he would drop dead before he ever became a Catholic. I have been wondering with the Rescue if there might be miracles, it would take a miracle for my Mom and Dad to become Catholic. But if when the Rescue happened, my parents saw Our Lady, and my Dad’s leg was healed, I think that would do it.

Beautiful reflection, John. It will be something to behold as we live through the days and ways God will act to unite us as one flock under one Shepherd. Perhaps the greatest miracles in those days will be miracles of the heart where truth is known and unity is achieved without any attitude of one-uppance. “… that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:21)

      Hi StClare
The Warning prophesied at Garabandal has been described as a correction of conscience and an education of our offense. Hopefully your Mum and Dad’s consciences with regard to their attitude to The Faith will be corrected and they will see the light. Glenn has compared The Warning to St Pauls conversion experience on the road to Damascus. Also we will be given eight days notice of the Great Miracle which will demonstrate the great love that Jesus and Mary have for us. Mary has promised that the sick who are present will be healed. Hope this gives you hope. Padre Pio, Mother Teresa and Pope Paul VI with other saints have all affirmed the reliability and authenticity of these prophesies. God bless you.

For now we have no idea about the gravity of our sin as seen by God. Our education in The Warning will consist of this. God will provide the grace for us to go through this ordeal although some may die from the shock. This will be the worst day of our lives………and the best. It will draw us closer to God than we could ever imagine. Conchita has expressed the opinion that practising Catholics will fare better than others in coming through The Warning. We have Confession and Communion and The Rosary. We are so blessed.

Even now, we have opportunities for repentance as God allows the unmasking of so many evils in our times. Continuing to pray that all people, Catholic and non-Catholic alike, will choose God, repent and accept His correction. Thank you Beckita. Whatever else may happen this year we have the assurance from Holy Scripture that God will not spurn a humble contrite heart. Jesus Himself tells us that correction by God the Father is a necessary and essential means of love. We pray in the litanies “Graciously hear us O Lord” and “Spare us O Lord” and “Have mercy on us.” The loving kindness of God will visit us like the dawn from on high. The light seen by St Paul at the same time blinded him to sin and illuminated him to grace. We will not be spared the Trial of Tribulation but we will be spared a fate worse than death if we repent now. The Warning comes to tell us when the worst of Tribulation is over and that the worst day of our lives is upon us. It starts with what looks like two stars colliding in the skies and that great light from on high will be seen and felt in ourselves in the pain of our correction. And then, after the pain, we will see and feel the Love of God in The Great Miracle. As Fr Andreu said on seeing his preview of The Miracle, we will clearly see how truly blessed we are to have such a wonderful Mother in heaven. But preparation time is running out. Mary tells us that a time will come when forgiveness is no longer available because of the multiplication of sin. Mary tells us that in these times She alone is able to still save us from the clamities that approach. We must go through the pain but She will save us. “Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary – those who place their confidence in me will be saved.” “And after this, our exile, show unto us the Blessed Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Oh Clement, Oh Loving, Oh Sweet Virgin Mary.”

The exact words of Mary at Akita are “If sins increase in number and gravity there will no longer be pardon for them.”
This makes me think of confession without a firm purpose of amendment, of saying sorry but doing nothing to change. It makes me think of the first message given for the world by Our Lady at Garabandal on October 18 1961 “The cup (of God’s anger) is already filling up, and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us.”
In the second message given on June 18, 1965, Our Lady told us through St Michael that her first message – her call to repentance – had not been complied with and had not been made known to the world. She said “Before, the cup (of God’s anger) was filling up. Now it is flowing over…..you are now receiving the last warnings.” These warnings were repeated almost verbatim in Akita.

          • You’re right, Chaz. I was listening on SoundCloud with earplugs, and one of the earplugs fell out without my realizing it. Your voice virtually disappeared. I was wondering for a second what had happened, then realized that I was missing one earplug, put it back, and your voice came back.

Check if you can record it in mono – see how it sounds that way?

Hi, I relistened to the podcast in soundcloud with the earphone on and yes, I can hear your voice clearly in the left channel.

Maybe you can consider recording where the audio from your voice and Charlie’s voice are coming out in the right channel for the onboard smartphone speaker (for those non-stereo sound output). Or the whole recording is in stereo so that the ear listening to it can have balance listening to it.

            Best regards.

Listening to your podcasts reaches my heart in a different way then reading your blog because I am hearing the same topics but they are discussed by 2 people who are family and love each other so I am taking it in in a different way. I think it is great. And though I was guilty of asking a question about the future [will the rescue be the end of the storm] I really am trying to not seek information about the future. Really! As they say Lol. My sister, who is a recovering alcoholic, told me recently that some wise words her counselor has given her are: If you live in the past you will be depressed and if you live in the future you will be anxious. If you live in the present moment you will have peace. It fits in well with what this website is all about.

    Earlier question:
“I’d like Charlies opinion on the correlations between The Fatima promise of a period of peace, Pope Francis’s desire to mobilize the church to evangelize the least in the church in conjunction with reigning in ultra- conservatism (and what benefit this has) and the simultaneous fall and rise of the world’s moral compass based on how the fall of some is causing the rise of others.”

I think You and your dad hit on this subject, but got side tracked on the answer.
Let me be more specific if I may….

With the admonition by the Pope of the ultra conservatives I see it as a concern by him for those who are pushing past the point of grace. I tell people if the Devil cannot pull you he will push you….right through to the other side of grace. Jesus gave us an insight to this with the parable of the Pharisee and the Publican (Luke 18:10) as an example of being overly self-righteous. I also see this passage pointing out another flaw, that of the Pharisee not caring for his fallen brother because he is now past the point of grace into the realm of ” so heavenly bound that your no earthly good.” We see this in Mathew 15:21 with the Cannanite woman asking Jesus to heal her daughter despite her not being part of the house of Isreal and how Jesus uses this as a teaching example of His redemptive mission being for all people even those who are considered “enemies”.
I know Charlie makes a similar reference to this in the comment about leaving the fallen in the hole and telling them they are OK, but yours refers to a form of spiritual laziness while I see the other as a spiritual blindness.
So my questions point is, how is the popes method of chastising the more conservative prelates a form of “He hath put down the mighty from their seat: and hath exalted the humble and meek “, and Our Lady of Fatima using this to evangelize based on how the fall of some is causing the rise of others.

I don’t understand your use of the phrase “ultra conservatism”. The only group I know of who fits that label you use might be the SSPX. I would be careful, please, about labels, because there are those who dissent from Church teaching on all sides. There are some supposedly “Catholic” publications whose writers, some of whom are priests, dissent from Church teaching and advocate for sinful things.

Sorry Annie, I should have used quotations with “ultra conservatism” as a means to identify the term as a catch-phrase more than a label.
In my other post on these “super Apostles” I try to clarify what I mean by it.
I do not believe the Holy Father is labeling anyone, especially his prelates as ultra conservatives, but that he is warning against this error just as St.John of the Cross warned about this danger found even among very holy men and women. The kind of error the SSPX has is disregard of the authority of the current magesterium because somehow “They know better” but the Holy Father is concerned with pastoral errors of prelates deciding who is “worthy” and who is not. I think it is not the Bark of Peter that is sinking, but the world and he is trying to get as many souls as he can on board before it goes under! I believe his plan is to “tamp down” the hair splitting and get right to the meat of evangelization. Jesus broke the rulebook, talked to women…sinful ones, pegan ones, possessed ones, healed on the Sabbath, etc. Francis is His vicar (representative in earth). His pontificate is being spun by the media just like everyone else who is against the devils plans. Its easy to see what Jesus was up to now that it has been revealed in scripture but at the time He was VERY controversial. Can we give Him the benefit of the doubt that He has a plan with this pope too?

Charlie, I’m glad you’re back. I’ve missed your heartening messages. Your comment on how our “work” is a form of pray, especially hit home. As a mom of 6 (ages 16 – almost 3 y/o) and caregiver of my dad who suffered a stroke, I’ve felt my prayer life has suffered. I never thought of offering up my “chores” as a form of prayer, thank you for that. I too am intrigued about the celestial events of September 23rd. I feel these “signs” are more than just coincidental. I try discerning my inner voice in these instances, but it has been difficult for me. I find it challenging to trust God, second guessing that the inner voice is just mine or worse, Lucifer’s. I know how cunning the enemy can be.
Heavenly Father, please bless the Charlie’s and all involved with the Next Right Step. May they continue to be a sign of hope, bringing Your children back to You. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen

Amen, Kelly. And also, have you ever heard of the book Holiness for Housewives, by Dom Hubert von Zeller? I read it 15 or so years ago when our oldest child was about 6. It changed my life and the way I viewed my spiritual life and my daily tasks as a mommy of a growing family. It’s a fantastic book. I wish I’d read it when our son was an infant; it would have spared me six years of thinking that I was a loser because I wasn’t getting to daily Mass, praying a whole Rosary every day, making weekly adoration, doing lots of spiritual reading, etc.

  26. Charlie recommended some excellent spiritual books. Here is Sister Lucia’s memoirs in a PDF made available by the publisher. With the centenary of Fatima approaching, I thought this would be a good time to read this little gem. It’s in the category of light spiritual reading. Among other things, it highlights the humble obedience of Lucia, the devotion of Francisco to console Our Lord, and the mature theology of little Jacinta who could neither read nor write. The main text is short, only 200 pages. Download it to your Kindle or computer and enjoy.

    To Jacinta:
    “Swift through the world
    You went a-flying, Dearest Jacinta,
    In deepest suffering, Jesus loving.
Forget not my plea and prayer to you:
    Be ever my friend
Before the throne Of the Virgin Mary,
    Lily of candour, Shining pearl,
    Up there in heaven
You live in glory, Seraphim of love,
    With your little brother
    At the Master’s feet
Pray for me.” — Sister Lucia

It’s a classic book, that one, and thanks for the tip to re-read it, Patrick, as it’s been a number of years since I did. Last year I downloaded for Kindle the book about her by the nuns of the Coimbra Carmel, where she lived from 1947 to her death. It’s sort of like an authorised biography, if I could put it that way, with many fascinating details of her life… and yes, some additional information about her visions, which continued all her life. But that’s not the real focus of the book. It’s called “A pathway under the gaze of Heaven”. Well worth buying – and it also helps the Sisters!

Things are heating up over here in rainy Ireland, on the “abortion referendum” front. Our sewer MSM have abandoned all pretence at objectivity and are whoring full-tilt for the constitutional pro-life protection to be abandoned. Our “gay” Prime Minister visited Canada recently, where he took part in a “pride” parade with Justin Bieber… ooops, Trudeau, sorry 😎 The latter took it upon himself to “urge” that unrestricted abortion be made legal here. Well, listen, pretty boy, we’ll have a referendum and the people will decide, o.k.? From what I hear from pro-life friends who are actively canvassing on doorstep and holding public roadshows in towns and cities, the cause is far from lost and the real people are sickened by the constant propaganda from the luegen-presse and Babylon-State. It wouldn’t be the first time our self-deluding “masters” have mistaken their liberal bubble-world for reality and come crashing down. O Lord, may that happen! God defend the right.

I have noted that there are many commenters who continue to ask Charlie what is going to happen. Indeed, some seem to think that Charlie has an obligation to give a time line and subject matter update. I think an excellent subject for a podcast would be what it means to be obedient to Holy Mother the church – to his Bishop, to his spiritual directors, to God. This obedience to that authority has always seemed to me to be a hallmark of the veracity of Charlie’s overall message.

He tanked on the Obama not finishing his term thing – fair enough. Charlie spoke in the way he thought he must. That error and Charlie’s response should give us all pause to reevaluate. Charlie responded with grace, humility and obedience to his Bishop while he took his lumps. If Charlie continued to give timelines and messages from God and his angel, I’d write him off completely.

I come here to get Charlie’s pretty brilliant historical and societal commentary. But seems to me that there are those out there who don’t realize what it means to be obedient and WHY it is so important to be obedient to the Church and also why Charlie is not forwarding any additional words of prophecy he may receive.

I thank God that Charlie has a Bishop and Spiritual Directors who urge the faithful to caution – primarily for the souls in their charge, but also for Charlie’s soul. I see too many “seers” out there who continue to publically give “messages” long after their Bishop has ordered a cease and desist – they will have a reckoning for any they likewise lead astray. I thank God also that Charlie has the humility and intellectual honesty to obey those in authority over him while continuing to tow that line to give his friends here on this blog some comfort.

So, Charlie and Chaz, spend some time explaining obedience to church authority, what it means to you and why it is so important to the faithful to do the same. What does that look like for you and for everyone? And that the approved seers and saints – Padre Pio, Faustina, etc., did the same.

Most people just say “uh, huh” and quickly change the subject. I am so grateful that this is a place where we can take heart. You are accomplishing your mission, Charlie, with me, at least. If you are able, let Yong Duk know that he remains in our prayers.

The current iconoclasm reminds us of what happened 500 years ago after the Protestant Reformation. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this is happening as a reminder of the past when Catholic statues were destroyed. Though this destruction hurts our hearts (especially those of us who love art) the ideals and the people represented live on, untouched, in the realm of eternity. They are in the hands of God.

    Peace and blessings to all.

Although the world is full of tribulation right now The Particular Tribulation prophesied at Garabandal has not yet taken off. It has been specifially described by Our Lady as Communism. In former years Communism was always prefixed by the word “atheistic” in Church parlance. This indicates its essential error namely that man can not only survive but thrive without God. This misconception is now endemic throughout the world and drives political and economic ambition for power and money. Although we know that The Tribulation proper will not take off until after the papal visit to Moscow its actual onset will still be sudden and unexpected. This was also prophesied. It will come upon us like a thief in the night as will The Warning which has also been described as a sign, a grace or a punishment according to the state of our souls.

We do not know as yet why the visit will be made. I suspect it will be a last ditch effort to broker peace. On the Pope’s return to the Vatican hostilities in Europe and probably elsewhere will commence. This will be accompanied by persecution snd suppression of religion to the point where open practice of the faith will not be possible.

Whoa…fascinating. Gotta read more about this. Just looking around you can tell things are really really bad.Up until my conversion to the One True Faith in 2014 at age 25 I seriously lacked a true appreciation of the extent of the moral and spiritual deterioration of humanity over the past 100 years.

Everybody knows about WWI and WWII but now that i”m Catholic and semi-literate in Marian apparitions it shocks me to learn how insidious political communism and cultural marxism really is. You look around over the past few years and you see godlessness, abortion, sodomy and blasphemy not just passively tolerated but actually championed. Treated as virtues, even. This is the result of the Errors of Russia spreading across the globe. Marxism is nothing less than the solvent used by the devil himself to dissolve everything Christianity has built over the past 2,000 years. It is the satanic anti-gospel. It is so treacherous that God’s own mother has to visit humanity to warn and protect us. It will, according to your understanding of Garabandal, trigger the Tribulation itself.

Every now and then it hits me anew on how insane these times are. Now is one of those moments.

Another interesting resource, Chad, is a documentary Fr. Wang and I viewed several years ago. Here’s a synopsis and trailer for the film:
“When Idaho legislator Curtis Bowers wrote a “letter to the editor” about the drastic changes in America’s culture, it became the feature story on the evening news, people protested at the capitol, and for weeks the local newspapers were filled with responses. He realized then… he’d hit on something.

Ask almost anyone and you’ll hear, “Communism is dead! The Berlin Wall came down.” And though the word communism isn’t used anymore, this film will show the ideas behind it are alive and well.

Join Bowers for a fascinating look at the people and groups that have successfully targeted America’s morality and freedom in their effort to grind America down. It’s not just another conspiracy theory. It’s a well documented agenda.

Curtis Bowers made this film because he hoped that once you saw the facts you would realize what he did after researching this topic… what has happened to America hasn’t been an accident.

Now is the time to get involved before the “Left” accomplishes their goal of destroying the greatest country in ALL world history!”

You’re right on target with comment policy, Joecro, by adding a few lines to describe why you’re sharing the link. Thank you so much for this. It has helped me to contemplate more about how Garabandal fits into the panoply of apparitions and messages in this current Age of Mary which many Mariologists and priests, steeped in studies of mystical theology, attribute to beginning on the Rue du Bac in July, 1830 with Our Lady’s apparition to St. Catherine Labouré.

All authentic prophecy will harmonize in God’s Plan for these times. Of course, what remains to be seen, is which private revelation (pv) is authentic and what pv is false. Come what may, now, ALL authentic prophecy will unfold as God allows. What *we* do not clearly see, for it belongs in the provenance of God’s Providence, is in this question: What has been, is being and will be mitigated? We do not know; God does. It is a foundational principle of mystical theology that ALL prophecy is subject to mitigation. From Amos 3:7: “Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” Why does God reveal the portions of His Plans He deems must be proclaimed? To prod us to return to Him. He knows us so well. Throughout time, we have demonstrated we humans are a stiff-necked people. From Pure Love, God’s care for us demands that He warn us of the potential purifying of us so that we come to our senses.

In my own studies, again and again, I have heard and read from priests, who teach about our times, as they refer to Our Lady as the pre-eminent Prophetess of these End Times. This same Blessed Mother who has come to us under many God-ordained titles has appeared prolifically in these last 150+ years. Every authentic word she has uttered cannot be read or heard, for she has come to her children all over the world. Nevertheless, every authentic word spoken *must* harmonize as part of God’s Plan to unfold. My point is that each of us may have a favored apparition place but none of these places is favored over the other by God and His Mother. No. Each authentic site, with its commensurate messages, reveals a loving intervention on the part of God, through His Mother: 1. To call us to make a return to God. 2. To raise up an army of praying people willing to intercede on behalf of the prodigals – with many in this army being already reclaimed prodigals themselves. 3. To alert us, God’s children, of the Justice He will allow and will perform of His Own accord in order to bring us back.

What I find most interesting is the question posed: “Does this mean communism will go away before that?” Conchita answers, “I don’t know, the Blessed Virgin simply said, ‘when communism comes again.'” This answer of Conchita – with my emboldened words – has been an aha! moment for my understanding because so many who follow Garabandal speak of the return of communism, as if it has gone away and I cannot see that it has ever left us. I do see that just as the left speaks about abortion in coded language (from naming abortion as removal of a blob of tissue to calling it women’s reproductive heath rights) so, too, did the left twist words as they advanced their communist/socialist agenda under Obama with his code words, “hope and change.”

Fr. Regis Scanlon O.F.M., in a piece on this site says: “Communism and its effects still exist today and strangles the Church wherever it exists.”

Charlie has made a strong case for communism present with a vengance in our world today in this piece from 2014. Here are some excerpts and, I believe, we’re living it:
“One prophetic item that has arisen lately is that communism must rise again before the Storm is fully engaged. It frankly surprises me that anyone could fail to see that it has already risen with a vengeance throughout the world. I guess people are waiting for Joe Stalin to rise again in his goofy uniform. Communism had three central elements, leading to a fundamental article of faith. The three elements are:

            1) A fatally flawed political system, supposedly a dictatorship of the people for the people’s benefit. It demanded central governmental control, commanding people what to do for their own good. As it turned out, it was just a dictatorship – doomed to failure.

            2) A fatally flawed economic system that, through the central command of the “dictatorship of the people,” would provide equally for everyone’s needs and wants. It vastly impoverished the land, destroying everything in its path. The only equality it ever provided was an equality of misery for the proletariat. Meanwhile, those in the system who were dictators in reality rather than just in theory, got an abundance of special privileges and goods because their work was so important to “the people.” It, too, was doomed to failure from the start.

            3) The replacement of religion with a cult of the state. The Russian Revolution institutionalized the toxic ideology that good can only be done without reference to God, which is the very spirit of antichrist.

The Primary Article of Faith for Communism arising from these principles was the God is dead and man is now god. This is the formula for the rule of raw power.”

This leads me to also reconsider the criterion that the Holy Father must go to Moscow before the fullness of the Tribulation ensues. I know the idea I will raise has been refuted by many who believe in Garabandal, but I believe it deserves contemplation for God has been known to alter His Plans which He has asked prophets to proclaim. Why? Because He respects human free will and is ever writing straight with our crooked lines. Just think of the request made to Sr. Lucia by Our Lady of Fatima that Russia, specifically, be consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart. Yet, Sr. Lucia assured us that God accepted the consecration which Pope St. John Paul II made in 1984 – and he didn’t specifically name Russia. So, I recycle to contemplate that, just maybe, when Pope Francis met with Patriarch Kirill in Cuba, the meeting between the Pope and Russia was being fulfilled in a surprising way. Do I know for certain? No Way. None of us resides in the full Mind of God. He and He Alone knows the best way forward, including what prophecy has been, is being and will be fulfilled. I just want what He wants. And I’m ready to lay down my current understandings and contemplation to whatever HE decides is THE BEST WAYS for saving as many souls as possible. To that end, may we all be next right stepping, moment by moment, day by day. Praying in union with all here. God bless us, one and all.

            Thanks for your comment.
The seers of Garabandal were simple, largely uneducated peasant girls whose very simplicity served to keep their witness pure.
As for The Pope going to Moscow – Glenn has recently confirmed that the Pope will go physically to Moscow. Also we are told that as soon as he returns to the Vatican hostilities will break out in various parts of Europe. This did not happen when he returned from Cuba therefore this was not the prophesied visit.
So far I see no mitigation of other revelations from Garabandal – not even with Joey.
Thank you for your thoughts but like the girls my simple mind tends to keep it more simple. I got into trouble on another site when this simplicity of mine was seen as a means to stifle discussion.
I hope it is never seen as this here where many good and fine minds contribute to the well being of all.
In the words of Padre Pio in a letter from him to the seers “They do not believe in your conversations with the Lady in White. They will believe but by then it will be too late.”
Those conversations in my humble opinion are not vulnerable to mitigation except in our response.
I would say that most followers of Garabandal believe that Communism has taken a back seat in the theatre of politics but not gone away – its presence is not so recognizable as in the terrible persecutions that took place in Spain and with which the seers parents would have been familiar.
In Garabandal the words of Our Lady echoed the displeasure She had about the non compliance with her expressed wishes at Fatima ” As my message of October 18 has not been complied with and has not been made known to the world” etc. There was no mitigation but the disobedience was accommodated by revision from both heaven and earth. Poor Lucia – talk about being caught in the middle.
Mary makes it quite clear that She can only do so much to bring people around to her Wisdom and hold back the hand of God. As the old saying goes “It’s up to God but down to us.”
Thank you once again for your thoughts and I thought I was going to get back to sleep!
Today is the anniversary of St Faustina’s birth on earth. As St Paul says the whole of creation is groaning in one gigantic act of giving birth. I hope we meet Faustina when we are born again into the kingdom of God. Meanwhile, St Faustina pray for us.

Thank you, Joe, for your further clarification. Your apt line is exactly what mitigation is all about: “Those conversations in my humble opinion are not vulnerable to mitigation except in our response.” (Italics my own for you nailed it, Joe – our response facilitates mitigation.) I, too, believe with all my heart, mind and soul that those conversations and mystical experiences the young, innocent girls had when they were in ecstasy as they encountered Our Lady of Mt. Carmel did occur… just as the girls recounted them and just as others who observed them have reported. Having walked the streets in the village of Garabandal, honored the special places of certain events, especially spending time in the little church and, most of all, up at The Pines, I am grateful for what Our Lady gave us there. That these apparitions have never been condemned in more than fifty years is a big deal, a special grace. And with all that said, I do ponder how our response, as you say, Joe, has brought, is bringing and will bring mitigation. So true is your shared wisdom saying: “It’s up to God but down to us.” So much yet to be revealed and fully understood in all of these things.

Here’s a beautiful story of how mitigation has already come about for us in this Storm. I was pondering it this week, for it gives witness to God’s Infinite Mercy. Charlie shared this with us as a comment in the discussion following his piece, On the Consecration of Russia.

“I debated on whether to include what follows below in this article, but decided against it. I have kept it to myself and a very few. But certain events have suggested to me I should give it now. It evoked the mercy that God showed my namesake, Abraham.

When I was on my pilgrimage, I very much dreaded going to the top of Mt. Meeker. I had been told that when I reached the summit – which I was directed to climb to – the gates of mercy would be shut and the Storm would enter into the fulness of its fury. The sides people had chosen by this time would be hardened. One could still get back to the side of faith, but it would be much harder and entail much sacrifice – and few would make it successfully.

I am obedient. I walked across the country with serious neurological damage. But I dreaded this. I had also lived, since childhood, the agreement that I would obey any legitimate authority on earth when it exercised legitimate authority in contradiction to what I had been ordered. This is not as shocking as you might think. God can melt legitimate authorities objections – and on several occasions He has when it was necessary. It is humble submission, keeping my feet on the ground, and not becoming an unaccountable law unto myself.

I suffer an often hidden disability. I could not walk up the mountain and back in a single day. So I was walking up and camping during the Novena. The third day, I was confronted with National Park Rangers who rousted me at gunpoint, for camping was not allowed beyond a certain area. Once they realized I was harmless, everything was fine. But I was not allowed to camp close enough to the summit to be able to make it up and back in a single day, given my disability. I was utterly delighted. I had to feel something like my namesake, Abraham, did when the Lord pulled his hand back from Isaac. For the last few months of my pilgrimage, I dreaded getting to the top…it felt like I was going to be spiritual executioner to many. The Lord used my normal obedience to legitimate authority to spare me this. On the fifth day, I did as best I could, regardless. I got above the tree line, but I clearly could not make it to the top and get back down before it was deep dark – and I had already encountered four bears in the mountain. So I never reached the summit.

During the rest of the Novena I was given to know that because of the growing obedience and prayers of many, God would shorten the number of days in the fulness of the agony of the Storm. (Emboldened text my own – Beckita) Because of my obedience to His command and my later obedience to legitimate ordinary authority, I was given to see that mercy in a unique way. And the Lord would leave the gates of mercy open for people to cross back over easily into the faith and truth as the onset of the fullness of the Storm was delayed. But had I stubbornly defied normal authority and snuck up to the summit as I had first promised, I would have been punished by God for my disobedience.

You can make of this what you will, but I was profoundly grateful to God – and learned something about the extent of His tenderness and mercy – and how He is ever ready to bend His demands when we live obedience. I have read several times that one of the few things that made St. John Paul visibly angry was when some well-meaning person told him he needed to consecrate Russia properly. Any of you who wish can correct what you think is St. John Paul’s great error on the matter. Both by temperament and personal experience, I completely believe he did NOT make a partial job of it, but did precisely what God wanted of him in the matter. And I am happy to take that conviction to my judgment. Never make the mistake of underestimating God’s tender mercy.”

Blessed be God forever! Ave Maria eternally!

Forgot to say that I almost agree with Charlie’s take on Communism. Even at school I remember being taught about the utter failure for instance of collectivisation of farms in both Russia and China and the tens of millions of deaths that resulted from the establishment of Communist control.

While the horrors of the extermination camps of German Fascism are truly horrific the numbers are dwarfed by the deaths in Russia and China. It is estimated that the Communist party under Mao killed 43 million people often in unimaginably sadistic ways.

Rather than living in the prophesied revival of communism I see that we are living through a re-representation of communism that is disguised as a succesful and beneficial pseudo capitalist force. It is silently regrouping its forces in preparation for one final assault. It has tended its field of battle well – its field is called atheism which declares the exact same deception as at which Satan spoke in Eden namely that with enough knowledge we can ditch dependence on God and deny His Almighty Power: that we can become like God.

Christ said “I come that you may have life and have it to the full.” Adam and Eve choose the tree of knowledge and not the tree of life. When we venerate the cross we are told “Behold the wood of the cross on which our Saviour chose to die.”

The Way of the Cross leads to this wood which is the Tree of Life.” A second Adam to the fight and to the rescue came.

For many the Cross was simply an ignominious end but we know The Truth who hung on that cross was the start of a new chapter in human history whose sacrifice mysteriously encompassed the whole of time, and being not only the Alpha but also the Omega, will be with us until the end of time. He is the bread of life that will preserve us unto life everlasting.

Satan we are told was a liar and a murderer from the start. So is Communism. As you say Becks, in its propaganda it uses words to disguise the truth. But The Word made flesh hung high on the cross draws all men to Himself and directs their gaze away from self and Satan.

And no-one can come to the Father except by this Way. And so the empty word of Satan is completely nullified by The Word of God. That is why we pin our colours to the mast of Christ when we renew our baptismal vows and proclaim with a resounding “Yes” to the question “Do you reject Satan and all his empty promises.”

And in this affirmation of faith we are equipped to take the next right step wherever Life leads us.

            Absolutely beautiful reflection, Joe.

I’ve sat with some of our Chinese brothers and sisters and listened as my own streaming tears mingled with theirs while they have retold the stories of torture and death during the Mao era. Fr. Wang’s dad died in a concentration camp only because the family owned a little more land than their neighbors. Not even his father’s bones were recovered; but he did preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified while in the camp. By some accounts, there have been nearly 60 million abortions worldwide since Roe v Wade was passed and we know the “abortion culture” is a hallmark of communist rule. Poor China suffers in this horror to this day. The U.S. State Department reports there continues to be 23 million abortions a year in communist China.

Joe, I am open to the possibility that there will be one more onslaught of communism – but, from what I survey in this country and around the world, I believe we’re already living it. I look, too, at the depravity of using embryonic stem cells from aborted babies to conduct all kinds of research. Further, aborted embryos have been used to pave roads, make food taste better, create vaccines, go into make-up to beautify people’s skin. These are examples of the height of perversion to me. Spirit Daily has featured reports of labs where embryos are created using the DNA of three persons. (I wonder if this is what’s being reported in the open, what is going on in secret?) We’ve enshrined active homosexuality as “marriage.” To me, these are all spinoffs from the atheistic communist anti-God mentality. This phase of tribulation seems extremely chaotic, confusing and divisive – even within our Catholic Church.

All said, I bow to whatever and however God brings His Plan to fruition.

Although I sm now behind in my work I enjoyed reading Charlie’s piece on Russia and his experience of God’s wisdom and mercy on Mt Meeker. If Moses had only struck the rock rather than speak he may have reached the promised land. Charlie did indeed take the next right step by stepping no further up the mountain and obeying legitimate authority. The key to grace is willingness. It is the key to the Kingdom.

(I just remembered that A.J. Cronin who came from my home town of Dumbarton, wrote a book entitled The Keys of the Kingdom. I must read it again.)

I love Charlie’s take on the righteous anger of St John Paul II. This great pope had full confidence and trust in God. He knew he was taking the next right step in this procession of consecrations. It is very good that Charlie has proclaimed and affirmed this particular rescue.

Just one final thought on the Wisdom of God who used like for like in defeating Satan. The deception of Satan was that we can go it alone under our own steam. The “deception” of Christ was that his cruel and humiliating death was the end of Him. Christ completely outclassed Satan at his own game – the appearance of disaster concealed the victory of salvation. As result we can join in the chorus “Death where is thy sting.”

Of course Christ never told a lie he just let Satan believe he had won so that Christ’s victory could be magnified. And of course the magnificat is embodied in the Immaculate Conception whose own Triumph will be made manifest in the end.

Perhaps that is why Charlie and his followers were allowed to believe in the inauguration prophesies – so that that the real victory would be truly and fully accredited to the True Victor and magnified in comparison to what we are told by our puny imagination. In the Light of this Victory Charlies error will be utterly eclipsed as mother’s joy in her new-born eclipses the pain of labour.

My only reservation is that Christ does not lie. My faith in Charlie rested on my faith in God. As far as I was concerned by believing in Charlie I was trusting in God precisely because he claimed his prophesy came from heaven and “Told us true.”

I now believe that the inauguration prophesies did not come from God but that God allowed them for his own purposes just as he allowed the happy fault of the fall to achieve His greater purpose. Only in the fall could the fullness of God’s love be made manifest to us in The Incarnation.

I can only speak for myself but I reject Charlie’s contention that a desire for more detail about his Rescue represents a desire for schematic control. The better our understanding – which is a gift of The Holy Spirit – the better we can surrender. The darkness could not comprehend the Light. For me, if there is Light in Charlie’s Rescue it remains to be proclaimed. Then I will believe. I cannot believe in something about which I know nothing.

Cycling round through our discussions, Joe, and rereading all we’ve covered. As I said, it has been a time of deeper thinking for me about these things. As you listen to the podcasts, you can also hear Charlie clearly say the inaugural error was not a deception of satan. Something I’ve noticed in clearing so many comments, since the end of January, is that one of the toughest realities for people to remember is the way God has and is working with Charlie. He is not a seer who receives messages and then simply repeats the words verbatim. No. Charlie’s mystical input and training have been just what he has conveyed to us: that of receiving information and instruction while Charlie has had to discern and interpret. In my mind, there is challenge, for every one of us, to clearly discern what God is asking. I sure as heck mess it up at times. My mistakes are not lies; they are simply my mistakes. I cannot fathom the burden of what it must be like to discern and act when God has chosen one, such as Charlie, to be His public instrument for these times.

All this is to say that Charlie would never have told us the predictions he did on a mere whim or by invention of his human imagination. No way. In short, the predictions, indeed, came from God via whatever mystical input He deemed to utilize. Whatever that mystical input has been comprised of, Charlie has conveyed what he has in order to prepare and guide us, in these times, to the best of his ability. Charlie has humbly admitted he made a serious error. We know, from Charlie himself, that St. Gabriel had corrected a multitude of errors, on CJs part, over his lifetime. No correction was given this time, therefore, I, too, see that certainly God allowed it. God Alone knows what good He has drawn-is drawing from this error but we can be sure He always draws good from our mistakes when we give our very best to the tasks before us.

The archives at this site are replete with Charlie’s constant exhortations to set our minds, hearts and souls on God, to trust in Him. I remember one FOCUS interview in which CJ was firmly pounding on the table to demonstrate his point as he stressed that we don’t need Charlie; WE NEED GOD. As I observe, Charlie has been, and continues to be, God’s faithful servant, ready to serve His people. Of this I am rock solid sure. And as I continue to work with Charlie and the team gathered round him, I deepen in my gratitude to Our Lord and Our Lady for choosing Charlie and, without making him a guru, I deepen in my gratitude for Charlie’s FIAT. Prayers that we all continue to give our own FIAT, moment by moment with each next right step by blessed step, day by day. Onward into this Storm we go…

Communism is defined as a theory or system of social organization in which all property is owned by the community and each person contributes and receives according to their ability and needs. This is exactly how the early Church was structured and administered. This does not describe the failed ideology of Marxist/Leninist Communism.

Communist thought has also been traced back to the works of the 16th-century St Thomas More. In his treatise Utopia (1516), More portrayed a society based on common ownership of property, whose rulers administered it through the application of reason.

“We must not equate every call for social justice to communism. Justice is most possible amid a culture of freedom, but freedom also requires responsibility to one another.”

            “8/10/2013 (4 years ago)
LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) – Pope Francis is different from many who have gone before him. He has eschewed much of the papal luxury that comes with the Petrine mission, and he maintains a simple, Jesuit lifestyle equipped with just the basics. He wears simple shoes, a simple watch, wears an iron cross and sits in simple chairs. He carries his own luggage. His statement is one of humility, and his pronouncements call for attention to the plight of the poor and disenfranchised. What message then, is he sending to the world’s rich?

Pope Francis has cited the pitfalls of capitalism, decrying global income inequality and equating low-wage labour to a form of slavery. Pope Francis has called for the Church to be poor. He has asked bishops and cardinals to leave their princely houses and to get into the streets where the needy are. If ever there was a pope who was poor in spirit, it’s Francis,

Is he a communist? A socialist of some form? Anti-capitalist to say the least? None of the above. Pope Francis is simply reaffirming Catholic teaching. He’s also modelling badly needed behaviour.

In the United States, rampant capitalism has enriched the wealthy as the nation pulls out of the Great Recession. However, while Wall Street prospers, Main Street continues to struggle. When the question was put to Online Catholics on Facebook readers overwhelmingly responded that they were yet to see the benefits of the recovery that Wall Street is enjoying.

Disparity in wealth means less opportunity and less freedom for people at the bottom of the socioeconomic scale. Such people become more likely to adopt socialist and communist ideals, which can be very nationalistic and opposed to freedom of religion or Christianity.

Pope Francis isn’t decrying the ownership of private property, but rather the hoarding of it. Hoarding wealth can be harmful to the soul. Very few people in positions of wealth and power have the ability to live poorly, as the Holy Father does, avoiding the temptations of power. Most wealthy individuals seek to secure and increase their wealth and influence, even though it often comes at a high human price. Rightly, the wealthy and empowered should consider the teachings of the Church when setting policies for both business and government.

This is the constant message of Pope Francis. There is nothing communist or socialist about asking for people to make responsible, sometimes selfless decisions with their wealth and power. Instead, it is very Christian to concern oneself with the plight of those less fortunate. This is Pope Francis’ call, and it is the message of Christ Himself.”
The Tribulation prophesied in Garabandal is described in one word: Communism. This cannot be equated with the preferential option for the poor espoused by Pope Francis which compels us to think first of the needs of those who are most vulnerable.

Becks, you say, “Joe, I am open to the possibility that there will be one more onslaught of communism – but, from what I survey in this country and around the world, I believe we’re already living it.” All of your examples, however, are ventures driven purely for profit – even the pink dollar of homosexuality. Now that is big business.

It goes without saying that Atheistic Communism has the potential to generate the sins you quote but businesses such as your examples are features of Capitalism, not Communism. They are all Capitalistic ventures. The sins you describe are not in themselves The Tribulation but that which warrants The Tribulation. Satan believes in God but will not obey Him. Love needs obedience. The examples you quote are not spinoffs of atheistic Communism but a direct result of indifference to God’s will which is relegated by the love of money in which are in grave danger of becoming “Children of a lesser God.”
“The love of money is the root of all evil.” 1 Timothy 6:10

The Communism that defines The Tribulation prophesied by Our Lady in Garabandal is the reign of terror and persecution of the kind with which the Spanish were so familiar during their Civil War. It is horror of this kind that was shown to the Garabandal seers during the Nights of Screams. It is about the return of Communism and its errors, not only the increase in sin that leads to its revival and in which sin is further propagated. It does not care about sin, only power.

As I have said before there are two punishments that relate to Garabandal one that comes from the hand of man – The Tribulation, which is terrible and certain – and one that is far worse and that comes from the Hand of God – The Great Chastisement. which as far as we know is still conditional. Both are the result of sin. In both events God’s mercy is revealed and realized.

Surely have been aware of the distinction between the source of the tribulation and the Source of the Chastisement, Joe. This very Storm is a tribulation which we humans have collectively brought upon ourselves. God, through the messages He Himself has given and, also, the messages His Mother has brought, has been highlighting the means to mitigation. As He has, from one generation to another, He is calling us back.

It is clear we disagree on the interpretation of the Garabandal messages. You expect, by the words given at Garabandal, a further ramping up of communism. On the other hand, I agree with the interpretation in the passages I quoted from Charlie concerning communism – by different names – already present with a vengeance in this Storm and I set that in the context of Our Lady, at Garabandal, not ever saying that communism would disappear.

In taking this to a breakfast discussion with Fr. Wang, who has studied Garabandal carefully, within the perspectives of Mariology and mystical theology, he believes Our Lady of Garabandal used the word “communism” with the little girls because that is the only word which would convey to those wee, innocent ones, the troubles which would ensue if people did not make a full return to God and His Laws. Father said those sweet girls would have never had a clue about the vocabulary used in today’s world to describe the Godless ways, all the -isms, in which societies and cultures fashion themselves without God at the Center of their decision-making and which, then, have brought all the sinful realities which I previously named – and more. This made me reflect on how Jesus spoke in all manner of figures of speech in his parables, such as hyperbole, idioms, ironies, similes and allegory. Father’s words made good sense to me. Mystical language can be very literal. Mystical language can also be very metaphorical.

I respect your interpretation, Joe, and realize there are many who take the literal interpretation. And it’s OK to disagree on this site as we discuss and discern together. Even amidst the disagreements, I know we are connected in good will and in such a love of Our Lord and Our Lady that no matter how God’s Great Plan unfolds, each of us will cry out, “My Lord and My God!” when He reveals Himself to each one of us. Maranatha!

            Hi Becks
I too respect your right to a different view point. Thank you once again Becks but I still feel you have missed the point – probably due to the different terms we use.

My understanding of Garabandal does not involve interpretation to any significant extent. It is simply acceptance of its witness. Because of different terms you seem to uses Storm and tribulation in the same way.

There is a difference however between a tribulation or a time of tribulation and The Tribulation as prophesied at Garabandal. There is no question of applying a so called literal or linear interpretation. It is simply a matter of accepting what we have been told as is. This is not interpretation.

Charlie quite rightly dismisses the opinion of those who say or imply they have everything worked out. I do not have this opinion. The grace of Garabandal is that we are not required to work anything out with regard to its witness. We simply accept, ponder prepare our souls as best as we can according to the messages ….and wait. The messages are the most important aspect of Garabandal not the prophesies. We cannot carry these messages unless we live them. In this I still have far to go.

I have never accused you or Charlie of telling lies. I have simply agreed with Charlie’s own opinion that he was decieved and have stated that God does not deceive. No one disagrees on that. Any deception has but one source.

Nor have I ever said that Communism had disappeared. I simply accepted the silence of Our Lady when asked if this was the case. By refusing to qualify her statement she emphasised her intended meaning – Communism will come again.

I have already affirmed the simplicity of the girls and their understanding in agreement with Fr Wang.

There is also a difference between The Tribulation and the cause of The Tribulation which is indeed the state of the world and men’s souls. From your comment, this state is your/Charlie’s Storm , not the Garabandal Tribulation but a precursor to it. We are still in pre Tribulation times – Tribulation with an upper case ‘T’ as far as Garabandal is concerned. Once again this is not interpretation but acceptance.

We do not need Charlie to tell us we need God. We have all Scripture and Teaching that tells us that. Even Charlie’s exhortation to “seek God and all will be added” is already in scripture. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.”

In this you seem to have missed the point that it is precisely because of our faith in God, our trust in God and or need of God that we believed in Charlie’s inauguration. When Charlie tells us true he is telling us that his words come from God/heaven. We have never based our faith in Charlie on a need for him but in our need of God. Our faith was undermined in Charlie’s error because we believed he was telling us what God had told him to tell us. I say again – if this telling was a deception it did not come from God.

The revelations of Garabandal are cosmic and universal and do not lend themselves to simplistic, as opposed to simple, reception. Blessed Pope Paul VI said this most important story of The Virgin’s second stay on earth must be told to the whole world. Other saints witness it is supernatural in content. This will be confirmed by the Church when the prophesied events come to pass. These events will be clearly recognised because they have been clearly described.

Even when they come to pass many may still refuse to believe. Many may still be deceived. Many may not persevere in their conversion. Many may still be lost. We will still have free will. And souls will be saved because of this story.

Having heard the latest pod cast I am now satisfied we have a clear description of The Rescue that lends itself to verification and authentication if its prophesy.

We are told that the Rescue is a discrete event that will happen late this year.
We are told that during this Rescue Mary will come and she will be seen by everyone.
We are told that in this Rescue the existence of God will be confirmed to all.
We are told that in this Rescue all will know that Jesus Christ is Lord and God.
We are told that in this Rescue all will know that Our Lady is the Mother of our God.

This is enough for me to believe in God’s word through Charlie should it come to pass. And yes it will be enough to restore my faith in Charlie’s gift of prophesy – to add to my faith in the working of The Holy Spirit as He renews the face of the earth.

As ever I am typing this out on my phone and it takes ages. I would like to end this exchange with one final comment but will wait until I have access to my computer at work. I have decided I spend too much time online – or rather I go online at the wrong time and thereby neglect my daily duties. Procrastination is my geatest fault but I should procrastinate in online activity until I have done my work. God bless us all.

Well, Joe, Charlie initially said it “could” have been a deception. In retrospect, he has said he believes he erred by misinterpretation.

Of course, it is possible to misunderstand each other due to terms, as you say. I see your points. I do. Yet, I think differently and also continue to ponder about all the prophecies of our times of which I’m aware. This includes Garabandal, but not exclusively so. I believe God is harmonizing all of them into His Plan. How that will look, in the end, is certainly His Call. I am curious to see what is and will be mitigated. Time will tell.

Honestly, for me, my own faith in Charlie and his mission did not diminish with the inaugural error. I’ve been ALL IN and will remain ALL IN for the long haul. I was personally disappointed because I had been mentally ready to enter the fullness of the Storm. As you know, I often remark that I’m so ready for a reset. And God knows what He was accomplishing in the circumstances as He allowed them to play out, so I simply surrender to what has occurred, trusting that He draws good out of everything.

All manner of Peace and Hope to each and every one of us as we move forward in these times.

  32. When the podcast started and you were discussing Charlottesville and got a little off track, Charley2 said about getting back to Charlottesville and I thought he said “Getting back to Charlies’ Ville”. I laughed out loud when I realized my mistake but NOW I think of the 2 of you as Charlies’ Ville! Great Podcast…thank you.

    Hi Ann
In general your understanding is correct.
According to source witness The Tribulation will begin after the Pope returns from Moscow to the Vatican. The Miracle will take place in April of an even year within the same calendar year of The Warning. All the sick who are present will be healed. By some accounts it now seems the Chastisement will come but the official message is that it is conditional on the reaction to The Warning and the The Miracle. Essentially Garabandal is all about Divine Mercy even in the trials, calamities and horrors which approach, even in Divine Justice.

Maybe some here have seen this short clip: http://www.sign.org/videos/want-change-world-start-off-making-bed . I could classify it as Taking Next Right Extreme Step but I found it very encouraging – boy are those US Navy Seals tough!! The speech by William H McRaven, I can’t tell his rank, is backed by very dramatic, patriotic music. Somewhat affectionately, secretly admiringly, we Aussies usually respond to such things with “Those rah-rah! Americans” simply because of the stirring delivery – very effective. We Australians can be way too laid-back for our own good at times. I fear we all could do with some toughening up and, maybe without fully realizing it, that is exactly what we are praying for right now.

A question for Charlie, if he wants to respond. It may be best to ignore them, but some people at Mystics of the Church are posting negative things about Charlie. One person claims that Charlie has a financial interest in the Full of Grace store. I always thought it was completely independent and Charlie is not profiting from it. Is that the case?
Even if Charlie did get some income from it, there’s nothing wrong with running a business, so it doesn’t bother me. Someone has to pay the printer for the prayers cards. But the idea that you are getting rich from that sounds pretty ludicrous to me!

I wish to add to your assessment, Mack, that I’ve been reading, from time to time, all the nonsense about Charlie at MotC. Such a pity to spend one’s time, spinning the wheels of misunderstanding with misquoting. Over perceived hurts, resentment reigns there. From what I’ve seen, there is not a discussion going on which is immersed in prudent, honest discernment by looking at the fruits in addition to the things that may disturb one. What I observe are people gathered, looking for every opportunity to smear Charlie. Every word we speak/write and its intent that we hold in our hearts lies open to God. He knows. God bless, have mercy upon and help us all.

I also believe that if this question that you have posed is answered with truth, it won’t really matter to the critics at MotC; they’ll dig for another smear possibility. Whether to answer lies in Charlie’s decision-making but Gee! The hour is late. So much better for us who are ALL IN, to keep our focus on discerning the work to which God calls us and proceeding with those next right steps.

    Hi once more Becks
On my walk (shuffle) this morning towards the end of my rosary these words of Jesus in scripturec came to mind ” I thank you heavenly Father for having hidden these things from the wise and learned etc ” and then l though “Ah yes – there is a difference between concealment and deception.” God never deceives but he does hide things from whoever he pleases. This exclusion is always just and serves His purposes. I have always understood Charlie’s communications were for himself and even in particular for his own conversion. That process by its very nature is private as it pertains to each personal relationship with God which is unique. Charlie’s ongoing instruction, I believe, is his process of conversion, his preparation for his personal Rescue. It could even be a form of ongoing judgement or continual assessment. Its a hard and narrow road he has but its the right one, every step. All good things cry out to be shared and so he did in accordance with his instruction. This is because the Rescue is offered for all mankind. How it will be accepted is another matter entirely.

As I recall, in fact, it was an Irishman who first encountered the same beastie? And sent it off with an exorcism? Or maybe he just chucked the empty bottle at it. Whatever. Anyway, I’m looking forward to exorcising… ooops, exercising, myself in that beautiful part of the world

    Good piece.

All Catholics should be familiar with Pope Leo XIII’s Quod Apostolici Muneris {On the Evils of Socialism}.

In the West, partly due to our generally secular world view, we have predominantly seen Communism as an economic system. That is gravely unfortunate, however, because that is only one side of the coin.

The other side of the coin is the moral and religious. In school, studying communist systems, I spent most of my study on the economic and political systems in Communist countries and not the moral underpinnings, and then when I became a Catholic and due to my interest in the systems themselves I dove into the Church’s analyses of the philosophical origins of Communism. The Catholic Church has always been recognized by Communist leaders as the greatest threat to world Communism. It is entirely the reason great efforts were made in the ’30’s to infiltrate the Catholic Church with Communists. Bella Dodd’s testimony before Congress is enlightening in this regard.

At any rate, various documents of the Catholic Church, notably Pope Leo XIII’s Quod Apostolici Muneris {On the Evils of Socialism, published 1878} are nothing short of prophetic. They expose and outline the roots of communism and the goals in high relief and serve as a stark warning against them. Study of the primary documents of Communist thinkers verifies the assessments. Protestant writers tended not to address these issues in the 1800’s, but later, many did as well, though sadly the Protestant groups have amended their doctrinal positions to accept a certain number of these tenets.

So what are these moral teachings?

1] Elimination of traditional marriage and gender roles {customary apparel all the way to the now pervasive “LGBTQ…”, etc, culture}.
    2] Introduction of legalized abortion.
3] Replacement of Family and tribe with State.
4] Replacement of authority and responsibility for educating children from family/father to State.
5] Introduction of legalized, no-fault divorce.
6] “Separation” of Church and State {in the modern sense}.
7] Suppression of Catholic Church in specific and other expressions of Christianity and religion in-general .
8] Universal health care and dissemination of contraceptives.
    9] Official State Atheism.

It is fascinating to note that these were cultural/historical novelties introduced by Communist philosophers and founding fathers of Communist systems, tho some can be seen in the heretical movements of the Middle Ages such as the Catharists/Albigensians as well as in the teachings of some of the so-called “radical Reformers” of the Reformation era. These doctrines are integral to Communist thought and cultural planning. See how they have been incorporated in Communist nations by legislation or by force.

Exceptions to rules are instructive. Note that Stalin modified Leninist marriage and abortion policies when fear of declining population arose, and during the dark days of the German invasion of Russia during WW2, Stalin loosened up on a number of these tenets in order to emphasize “Mother Russia” and “Motherland” in order to steady for protracted war the wavering and diverse groups in the Soviet Union. Naturally, until the war was over……………….

Not just the Liberals, but the culture of the United States now reflects all of these Communist tenets. We do not demonstrate a Communist economic system, but in terms of morality and religion, we very much show off “the other side of the coin”. And in human history, these changes have happened VERY fast, over the last 75 years.

For these reasons, it can be said in a manner of speaking that the USA is indeed a “Communist” nation.”
