Hi, this is Jeff from Omaha. I saw you response to Joe & was wondering,….
Do you mean a group in Omaha to join the group in Lincoln or to have a 2nd meeting for Charlie in Omaha either before or after Lincoln?
    Thanks,

Thank you for responding and so quickly! A couple of friends and I have been following Charlie’s posts for about a year now. We would love to see and hear him. At this time we are not aware of who else in Lincoln or Omaha who have this interest. My initial contact with you was just the hope that if you do have Charlie come to Omaha we would like to attend. We are planning a trip to Omaha May 13 for the Ablaze worship at St. James. Do you ever attend these?

I too am in Omaha, and will be at the Ablaze at St James. Can we all (eastern Nebraska, western Iowa) try to touch base in the private forum?

May the Lord heal us, strengthen us, give us the gift of perseverance. Lord, I also ask for Your help and protection for us all. Please Holy Spirit guide us in all, and in making connections with those around us. Today, with all of the gifts and joy that abound, in all the simple sights and sounds around each of us, I offer praise and thanksgiving to You O Lord! You take such good care of us. Thank you Momma. Thank You Father. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Holy Spirit. Thank you Angels and Saints. Thank You for Your great and glorious plans for each one of us! Please accept our little we give, and help us to be light in Your Kingdom. Amen.

And lastly, a happy Momma must share, I just came home from May Crowing Mass at our kiddos school. My oldest daughter who is graduating 8th grade was chosen to crown Our Beautiful Mother.

How beautiful on the May crowning. I just attended at the Catholic school where my 4 granddaughters go. They had 2 eighth grades and 2 kindergartners crown BVM. Not mine but it was beautiful to watch each student present a flower to her.
I like you idea of connecting our area. I am senior and tech challenged and just figured out how to get to private forum on this site. Now what do I do?

Thank you. What a blessing these last weeks have been! This is my oldest baby, and I know it’s “just” 8th grade graduation, but this has been so joyful!

Also, I did just post a new thread on the private forum for those of us in Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa. I really have no idea, just trying to cup my hands around a spark and see what kind of flame the Lord wants to fan for this area of the country. It is under the US Steppers, then Midwest Steppers if anyone wants to jump in and say Hi!

      Dear Jerome,
My name is Robert Johnson, and am the coordinator for the San Francisco event being held in Marin County, just across the GG bridge from San Francisco. Charlie will be talking next Tuesday, July 12th and I am currently trying to make arrangements to have the event video taped. I have tentatively made arrangements with a local community TV station to do this. They are called CMCM TV, and their website is “CMCM.TV”. They only want $200 to shoot the talk, and we have a fellow with a video production company that can edit it, but would like to give him a few bucks to do it, but don’t yet know what that would be, but not much (maybe nothing). He is a very devout Catholic. His company is at http://milomix.com/our-story/ . If you are still interested in underwriting the video, please give me a call at 415-456-7820, or e-mail me at robertjohnson6211@sbcglobal.net. We are not sure just yet if we are going to have the funds to cover Charlie’s three night stay here, but we might. If it turns out that we have enough donations to cover everything plus the video costs, we could return anything you have pledged.

Someone mentioned their Happiness in meeting you and another wishing that you could….

You met me incognito recently… no rings, clerics (i.e. clerical garb for those who may not understand), or other. I spoke to you and you were tired and sore and I laughed after waiting, watching you, observing keenly, watching you deal with those who approached you and I merely came up to you. Heb 13:2? I was hoping your Angel would tell you who I was, so I just said, “Hi!” and “Thank You!” and something else to apologise as you spoke to me without knowing why in the midst of the Crowd…

Would be nice if you could visit my parent’s region.

All I can say is that you are shorter than I imagined!!

You have my affection and gratitude!

        Blessings,
        +YD

        Told you I travel incognito😀

What a joy that is to me, YD! And I really did NOT know you. Sometimes I pretend not to know when I do, but in this case I did not. Yet it is a joy to me. My volunteer coordinator, Mary, is very protective of me and how I get fatigued. But I have told her not to scrimp on opportunities for direct interaction with people – and especially Priests who want private time to visit with me. I enjoy chatting with people after a visit, even when I am very tired. When I have helped spark a new hope, a new resolve in them to trust in God, I feel like I am laying up treasure in heaven – and joy right here. I AM amazed at how many Priests attend my presentations incognito. I often have one in street clothes confess to me in private conversation afterward that he is a Priest.

I would like to have recognized you…but I also like how it happened, for it is an example of how we should always treat people…for we never know who we might be visiting with unawares. Hee hee…and it goes to show the truth of something I mention often…we rarely recognize the hour of our visitation until it is passed.

You know, my friend David Daleiden had sent me emails BEFORE he ever released any Planned Parenthood videos and became nationally prominent. When I realized what had happened, I went back to my early email exchanges praying that I had been nice, rather than cranky. Whew! I had been. I am as delighted that you and I have met incognito as if I had known at the time – and delighted that you found me working with joy, even if fatigued.

I want to make sure I understand correctly; you, infact, did NOT write “a two-part series on (your) blog detailing instructions on how to respond if the U.S. government were to begin rounding up conservative Christians and other citizens into detention camps. ” Correct? I did write a piece, though it scarcely resembled what your blurb says its point was. Here is the first piece. About a year and a half ago, all sorts of overheated pieces were appearing on the internet about Martial Law – and the responses were silly movie stuff. I wrote about how absurd those theories were – and how a real takeover would look, while noting that was an unlikely scenario…though also noting that with the current gang today’s unlikely scenarios often become tomorrow’s unbelievable realities. Whoever wrote the article for your diocesan newspaper put the worst possible spin they could without venturing into outright falsehood. They noted I am not approved – without noting that after investigation my Archbishop also did not restrict my content. Right now, things are getting more intense. In some dioceses I am receiving a downright warm welcome from local officials. In others, critics are screaming their heads off. I obey my Archbishop and carry on.

        Liked by 7 people

        • Joe says:

Thanks for the clarification, Charlie! Did your Archbishop publically state that you have no restrictions on your content, so I can email that link to my Chancellery, or was this only done in private discussions you had with him?

          Like

          • charliej373 says:

If there were any restriction in content, it would have been written in his letter. The Archdiocesan Commission explicitly explained this to me – and sophisticated readers who actually know how these things are done understood immediately – a cautionary letter with no content restrictions is just that. Now, if an official of your Diocese would call my Archdiocese, they can confirm that that is precisely the case. They don’t take calls on the matter from just anyone who wants to jawbone about it, but they do and have taken calls from officials from other Dioceses on the matter that seek clarification.

However, as there has yet to be posted a contact person, we are stymied. Is there any progress towards finding a coordinator? We are motivated to help from Richmond. In Him, CFB

They just had trouble getting a venue and sufficient volunteers. I have already made a schedule of new private meetings in three states, so it is too late to get that back on the calendar. I am sorry for your disappointment, but I always have more requests than I can fill. When we put up a request from a coordinator for more volunteers for a location, it usually means things are not coming together there. My instructions to my national coordinator have been consistent…that if it looks like it won’t come together, just replace it with private meetings with others I need to get together with. The volunteer base in Raleigh just never quite reached critical mass while the gifted local coordinator had another near simultaneous event, so could not devote all focus on this one.
